okok...talking about soccer...although i've missed the match as i was in granny's house...Manchester United just thrashed Liverpool..hahaha! 2-o is the score...haha! not that i'm a Man U fan but somehow, am not a big fan of crouch and gerrad..preferred c.ronaldo and giggs! think the next big match is barcelona versus real madrid...need to remind myself to watch it...

although critics have given it very high reviews..personally..i think this show sucks!!! i mean i know it's an adaption of infernal affairs and so the storyline is nothing interesting..but seriously, i'm very disappointed with leonardo dicaprio's and matt damon's protrayal of the characters...i've only watched infernal affairs I and lo and behold, tony leung and andy lau did such a fantastic job...leo d make the character so unmanly...he kept wanting to get out of his undercover role and it's so lame..and matt damon couldnt pass off as somone hypocritical at all...so disappointing..but luckily, jack nicholson save the world..he's soooooooo amazing...if he's not in that show, it would be such a flop...and mark wahlberg is quite an interesting character...hahaha! anyhow, i watched with 2 of my colleagues..who squeaked at the moments when the characters got killed..and for a moment i thought they have not watched infernal affairs..but i was soooo wrong...both of them have watched but i really dont know why were they squealing and squeaking...seriously, are they lame or what? hahahahaha! anyhow, they are not as lame as the guy who's sitting next to me..i overhead him saying this to his friend :" fuck, this is like infernal affairs! " hahaha! i wanted very much to turn to him and say.." dude, this is AN ADAPTION of infernal affairs! " but i sort of regretted that i didnt...haha! well, my next show would be this:

oh and finally, i plucked up my courage to get my ears pierced after 20 years...hahaha! i used to have ear-holes but becuase it got infected and thus it has closed..but i've always wanted very much to get it punched again as i really like the earrings that i've been buying for my friends..but am not afraid of the pain but rather am afraid of the infection...and so yesterday, after much consideration, i decided to do it..hahaha! hopefully everything will go well..and soon i can wear the earrings that i've always wanted for myself!! yay!!

yes, i took a week's off...was going to bali at the end of the week but got cancelled as one of my friends' cousin is getting married this weekend and she suspected that it's shot-gun..hahaha! so effectively, i'm just takin g a 1-week leave to rest? *laughs* many people ask me to cancel it...BUT why should i? i mean what's wrong with taking a week's leave just to rest and laze around?

actually im not really lazing around...had some plans but not exactly plans..but somehow, i have things to do everyday..hahahaha actually not really things to do..but i do have activities..but then again..i think to most people....they would think i'm wasting my leave...haha!

well...on monday, i woke up at 1pm..bathed, ate and watched OC Season 3...hahaha! that's about it..left with 3 more episodes...so happy! today i went for my annual checkup..which was pretty fast...the doc didnt say much..the nurses didnt say much either...asked me for stool samples..but i was able to produce any stools..hahaha! then i had quite an interesting conversation with the doctor...

doc: are you a virgin?
me: yup!
doc: okay, then you dont have to do pap smear...
me: oh, pap smear only for sexually active people? then i guess i'm sexually very inactive..haha!
doc: ya, if we do a pap smear on virgin it might break the hemen...
me: oh, if that's the case...too bad right?
doc: i guess you dont wanna be a virgin ya?
me: why do you say that?
doc: because you seemd to want to break your hemen...
me: haha! no lah, i mean if it got broken in that manner...i guess i didn have much choice right?
doc: haha!

seriously, after that conversation..i have nothing much to say but laugh to myself...

afterwhich i went for a class at the gym called "power balance" or something along that line..thought it involved some kicking and punching with the word "power" but well, it's more like stretching, yoga and taji...not too bad..quite a good workout...after the whole thing...we're supposed to mediate...but somehow, i couldnt..i only slept..hahahaha..guess i REALLY REALLY cannot mediate....and i dont know how..i mean when i closed my eyes, laid down and relax...the first reaction for me...SLEEP...hahaha! how to empty my mind when it's basically emtpy? how to whatever and blah blah blah..guess i cannot reach that stage of enlightenment...

went shopping with my mum at vivo city...very huge..but actually not that huge...tons of shop..but didnt buy much...because nothing much to buy or rather i've burst my budget! haha...but i think it's good that i dragged my mum out..she has been cooped up in the house for 2 weeks because she fell ill...so well, i guess it's good for her to see the latest shopping mall...mmm, i think my next target is my grandmum....*smilez*

ooh...i'm so going to love jamie, my colleague...he lent him the first 7 episodes of PRISON BREAK 2!!! actually am in the midst of watching...but thought i take a short break...am so delirious...but i really wonder...why must the dress up when they were actually fugitive? and funnily how can the normal civilians not recognized 2 handsome men in suits? okay..to my jc friend who taunted me about not having season 2...I GOT IT ALREADY!! now i can also tell you how awesome episode 7 is...although i'm only on episode 2...talking about that..it's time for me to go!!

ah bengs and ah lians

when one thinks of ah bengs and ah lians..what image do one conjure in one's minds? for me it's him and her:



okay, to give them credits, they are the better-looking ones..but in my opinions they are still carry the lianish and bengish style...and maybe they do have talents in singing and dancing and song-writing and whatsoever..but they are still my icons for ah bengs and ah lians...stumbled upon this: CAB and somehow, i have some thoughts...

actually i have no qualms against ah bengs and ah lians...in fact i think ah bengs and ah lians are better friends..not that i have any as friends...but i would think that they are very chivalrous...always there for their friends and never despising or forsaking them under any circumstances..this is the kind of support that a true friend should give at any circumstances..in my opinion that is...so somehow, i guess everyone of us do behave and think like an ah beng or ah lians in some way or another...and hope that our friends display that quality when we need them... in fact, i belive each of us have an beng or ah lian hidden deep down inside us...some just let it out and some decided to lock them in...

actually, for me, i've never really encountered a true-blue ah lian or ah beng...i came from rather good schools and those so-called ah bengs and ah lians in my school are only mediocre when put beside a real one...not sure if that's a blessing in disguise..but i think it would be a good experience to really get to know one...come to think of it..i remembered i had a friend back in secondary school..and i think her name is Elaine...she looked and behaved like one..but she's not one at all...there was this time..a group of us were hanging out at macdonald's...and don tknow what happened..suddenly a group of TKGS girls came to our table and said something about going outside to settle matters....*laughs* at that moment i was bewildered..as i didnt even notice them..but it turned out that this Elaine was giving them "the stare" which caused the TKGS girls to be unhappy with us...*laughs* anyhow, Elaine got really scared and was cowering in fear behind us when she's the one who sort of started the trouble...then to scare the girls, i went out to make a call at the public phone to pretend that i'm calling my "gang" but in actual fact, i think i called my grandmother to tell her i'm coming home soon...hahahaha! you see, as most ah lians speak hokkien and i speak hokkien to my grand mother...i decided to sound more convincing...*laughs* anyway, nothing happened and we just went home..with Elaine muttering continuously about how scared she was and blah blah blah...soooooooo hilarious!

fashion-wise, in what positions are we given the right to stereotyped the way ah bengs and ah lians dress? why do some idiots simply love to ostrasize the way ah bengs and ah lians dress? they are social icons...something which is uniquely singapore! *laughs*what's wrong with sporting green and blue streaks on their bleached hair, multiple ear-holes, mutiple tatoos, extremely short skirts, extremely tight tops, matching bright yellow with fushia.. actually in my opinions, ah lians and ah bengs basically dress like the japanese....very out-of-the-world and flamboyant..can be nice but not my style...if we can think that the japanese are the fashion leaders, why cant we say the same for the ah bengs and ah lians?

musically, in singapore, we define ah beng music as techno, trance and house...but after a conversation with my USA colleague, it seemed to me that they define their ah beng music as RnB, hip-hop and rap - they called it the black music...what a contrast! over here, we think that people who listen and dance to RnB, hip-hop and rap as cool dudes and the westerners have a totally opposite thinking! *laughs* so the next time, whoever called me an ah lian when i say Groove Coverage rocks is an idiot! haha! but frankly speaking, i dont think they rock..but i do like some of their songs..and also i like floorfilla's anthems! however, i really cannot stop laughing when i see an ah beng or ah lian dance...they have such synchronized and creative moves that reminds me of the singapore workout! simply dig watching them move with such grace...

very sadly, i seriously think that we shouldnt define certain cars that are really cool to be an ah beng car...that day, someone mentioned that he's going to buy a WRX and immdiately, the reaction from his friends were.." if you're going to get that car, we're not going to talk to you ANYMORE " what's wrong with WRX? look at this:

it's such a nice WRX...even our Singapore Traffic Police are using it...and what's wrong with "zhnging" cars to make them look nicer? what's wrong with having GT-wings, gold sport rims, lower suspension, body kits and whatsoever on cars just to make them look sporty and cool? in my opinions, it's really damn cool to have modified cars and engines...i love the sound that a modified car make when the driver is changing gears...haha! too bad i'm an horrible manual driver...maybe i could modified my car to produce that sound whenever my car reaches a certain speed...haha! anyhow we have to give credit to the ah bengs who are able to drive a WRX STI...becuase they dont come cheap ya....

where's my season 2???

i didnt know i would fall crazily in love with prison break...*laughs* when my colleague first told me about wentworth miller..i was like..." he look like any other guy! " but now...hahahaha! i think i'm crazier than her...*laughs* that day we were actually "fighting" over him..finally, we settled the whole matter in a nice way...i will be wentworth miller's lover while she will be wentworth miller's wife...*laughs* now that i've finished season 1....i NEED my season 2...everyday i will just go to youtube and look at whatever videos they have on him or prison break...this is mad..i'm going crazy...mariah carey did a MTV with him and somehow, mariah carey decided to advertise her hong kong concert on our tv channel..and so every other hour..i get to catch a glimpse of him on our tv...SOOOOOO HAPPY!!

actually, i think i only like him in prison....which means i only like michale scofield...i think the story is amazing...it's so amazing to see the details that he went into to save his brother...it's absolutely out of this world...although some concepts may be really far-fetched..but hey, it could really happen...acutually i think he looks like eminem:

i still have time to have my social life ya...*laughs* last last saturday...i went to MOS with another friend..and there's this group of ang-mohs trying to be funny with us..seriously, they are rubbing their groins against our asses..and it's so disgusting...and they are not even cute to start with...and i could feel that it's big and hard...*laughs* and so friend and i started to move away and guess what? they FOLLOWED!!! but thank God..there's another group of girls and the ang-mohs started rubbing that way...blardy hell, they think they ang-mohs can do whatever they want in clubs is it? well, someone got to tell them...not EVERY single asian girls dig the ang mohs..so dont think just because their eyes are not black/brown, their hair is not dark and their dicks are supposedly longer and thicker...it DOESNT meant that they are superior...mr chong was asking.." if the ang mohs were cute, would you not feel so digusted? " and my answer was instant.." yeah... " oh god...now i feel and talk like a whore...*laughs*

last friday...was my department's teambuilding party..this is the offical name..but basically, i would call it the free-booze-free-food party...our theme was casino..and so we had casino's decorations and even have 3 tables...just like a real casino...free food and free booze...everyone was just dancing and eating and having fun...or at least i hope they are..for i was...*laughs* and the managers were wild...literally wild...we were dancing so wildy and aggressively...and now when i see them in office, i feel kinda shy..*laughs* anyway, there was this girl, a new girl...she's a freak...during the WHOLE event...she was trying to dance WITH the managers..everytime at the dance floor..she will dance seductively TOWARDS the managers..and ONLY the managers...that seemed to be her mission that night..and whenever she did that...colleague and i will put on our "get lost bitch, there's no space for you" motion..and we will keep her away...*laughs* actually it' s more like.. I will keep her away...*laughs* anyway, after the party ended at our destination, we headed down to butter factory for more dancing and drinking..and my manger is so darn cool...upon reaching butter, he saw the queue...went up to the counter and said.. . "i'm going to reserve a table, open bottles and i have 15 people here..let us in" and within 5 minutes..we're in! *laughs* HOWEVER, this particular manager was being such a loser...one colleague was asking him to drink..and then my colleague finished her drink while he didnt..so my colleague went.." loser...drink it up man! " in a joking manner..and so everyone thought she's joking and she's really joking..but suddenly, this manger decided to leave..and when my colleague held on to him...he said.." get your hands of me...get lost " oh god, that's so immature...and he just left butter and spoilt EVERYTHING...what an idiot! then another colleague from india..was an ASSHOLE!! not sure if he's drunk...but he had his hands all over the girls...*puked* and he even tried to kiss a few of us..but luckily, we're smart..we managed to escape by moving away form him..seriously, it's so farking disgusting..and we dont wanna make it sour by telling him to stop blatantly..and so the only thing we could do was danced away...and gossip behind his back..hahahaha..we're also bitches ya?

guess my life doesnt really revolve around the black box that much ya...but talking about that..i think it's time for me to get back to my OC 3...*laughs*
