WRESTLING!!

was watching "Mummy Returns" and one of the actors was a wrestler - Dwayne Johnson. He is also known as "The Rock". he's not exactly good-looking but he has a cute smile. he smiled crookedly and it's kinda cute. anyway, he always say " do you smell what the rock is cooking? " before he made his grand entrance for his fight. wonder why did he say this. this is how he looks like:

this reminds me of my love for wrestling when i was younger. i was always watching wrestling with my brother and i would actually discuss it with my classmates ( boys , of course ) and get all excited over who will win the royal rumble and whatsoever tournaments.and so one of the famous and popular wrestler is this guy, Ultimate Warrior:

funnily, when i was 12 years old, i thought he's darn good-looking and cool. but when i was googling for his pictures, i wasnt able to find a good-looking man at all. haha i guess my tastes change or maybe i was just infatuated with him. i guess beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. and how can we forget the ever-so-famous Hulk Hogan.

yes, he was like the MOST POPULAR WRESTLER of all time for a long period. to be honest, i wasnt a big fan of his as i find that too many people like him. but i really enjoy his wrestling sessions. he always have grand entrances with fireworks and he always have his signature moves before and after the fight. love it when he tore his shirt apart. but then again, his shirt is almost torn anyway.

Shawn Michael and Bret the Hitman Heart are 2 pretty boys. They are really pretty hot and pretty cute and they belong to the "good side". however, one thing that i totally cannot understand is the hair. i mean if you're in a fight and you have long hair, wouldnt it be easier for the opponent to pull your hair and hurt you? but somehow, every wrestler has long hair. i wonder why. and when they perspire, the hair turns wet and it looks gross. anyway, here's Shawn and Bret, honestly they are really quite cute.

if you guys think that these 2 pretty boys are my favorite, you're sooo wrong. my favorite is this guy: UNDERTAKER. haha.

yes, i love this guy. he's always so mysterious and his manager, Paul Bearer ( which sounds like Pallbearer ) always carry an urn which seems to have this magical power. like when he's losing his energy or power, by looking at the urn, he will suddenly regain power and become strong again. haha. super silly. but i dont like him during the WWE time. during WWE, he somehow lost that mysterious air around him.

oh well, other than the "good guys", there's also the "bad guys". one thing that i noticed is that the "good guys" are always half-naked. they usually have very simple clothes and usually they're distinctive in terms of colors. but the "bad guys" have very very distinctive features and they always have a lot of clothes. For example, Randy Savage is always flamboyant. British BullDog has the distinctive British logo all over and the Million Dollar Man has big blings blings. see:

anyway, i dont know when did i lose interest in wrestling. maybe it's when WWF becomes WWE. World Wrestling Federation becomse World Wrestling Entertainment. i guess they decided to change to "entertainment" so that they can truly emphasize that all the wrestling matches are just pure acting and pure entertainment. but sometimes, i heard from my brother, some of the wrestlers will get injured really bad and might even lose their lives. that is so scary, if you ask me.

oh well, did i mention that my 27-year old brother is still watching wrestling? he is still spending like hours on youtube just looking at WWE matches. super lame. he knows they are all fake but yet he gets all excited. ask him why. his reply " this is what i called CLASSIC ACTING ". my brother is really kinda lame.

Twilight vs Harry Potter

okay, "new moon" has premiered and "eclipse" is being filmed now. on the other hand, "harry potter and the deathly hallows" will be split into 2, first to be released on 19 Nov 2010 and second on 15 July 2011.

on HP, i have finished reading HP books and i must admit i have re-read it at least 5 times for each book. haha yes, im a BIG HARRY POTTER fan. i can remember almost every spell and i can re-read and re-read and re-read it again and again and again. as for the movies, i can also watch it over and over and over and over again. i just dont get bored at all. but to be honest, the first HP movie is still the best. the rest are not as good as i want them to be. also, the actors are kids and not that cute, but i still love the HP series.

these are the 3 main characters. when you compare them to the Twilight Stars, they are NOTHING. in fact, they pale in comparison and are kinda ugly. haha. although to be honest, i think Emma Watson is farking hot and so much more attractive than Kirsten Stewart.

see, the 3 main characters of Twilight Saga. the guys are sooo smoking hot and i really wish i can date both of them. now, there are 2 teams - Team Edward and Team Jacob. Edward is the vampire and Jacob is the werewolf. personally, i have no preference at all. in terms of the character, i do not like either. they are just so in love with Bella Swan that i get annoyed. in terms of looks, i think i am more of the Edward type. hee hee. but if i were to choose, i would rather be a werewolf. at least i can see the sun and i can eat. haha.

when TS first got popular, i kinda didnt bother. however, after watching 'twilight' on the plane, i decided to read the books as the movie sucks. oh well, it has always been the case anyway. books are always better than movies. however, the TS books sucks as well!!!! okay, to be fair, i have not finished reading all 4 books of the TS and so maybe it's too early for me to make that judgement. but i have finished 2 out of 4 and i really dont feel like reading it anymore. it's soooo boring. okay to be fair, maybe my expectation is wrong. i was hoping to read more about the werewolves and vampires and all the fighting and what-nots. but i was sooo wrong. Twilight Saga is PURE TEENAGE ROMANCE story. *yawnz*. this really explains why i was soo not interested in the books. if i wanna read romance story, i may as well read Julie Garwood or likes where at least it's erotic in some sense. HAHA. oh i havent watched the movie but i did saw some special program on E! for "new moon". those clips that i saw on E! seems to be the summary of the book. there are 24 chapters in "new moon", now im at chapter 20. and everything that i have read, the clips said it all. so weird.

well, i guess both have some similarities. both has caused sensation among kids, teenagers and adults. books are bestsellers and movies are hollywood hits. both has created some smoking hot stars (Robert Pattinson, Emma Watson, Daniel Radclife, Taylor Lautner) and both revolves around fantasy, magic and whatsoever. both has teenagers falling in love but it's much more obvious in TS. maybe that's both attracts fans from all walks of life. i guess most of us are still looking for PURE LOVE. hahahaha.

my gym members do the darnest thing!

not sure if i have mentioned before, but the members in my gym seriously do the darnest thing! every time i was in the gym, i will see the most amazingly weird stuffs. and trust me, it's not just weird, it's amazingly weird. so weird that i always wonder why. haha

well, to start with, i am always seeing naked women in the gym toilet. well, it's normal for women to be naked after showering and between changing BUT, these women are M-A-D. seriously. for some reason or another, most of these women think that the gym public area is their private bathroom. they will shower, walked out of the shower with the towel wrapping their hair and the body is fully exposed. women of ALL AGES do this. so i have actaully seen old and young, bushy and bare, kept and unkept pussies. on top of that, i have seen big, small, saggy, firm, perky tits. you named it, i've seen it. not that i want to see it but they were just strutting about the gym's toilet and as if they are victoria secret's models.

also, there was this time, this lady was doing her breast self examination right in front of everyone. she was basically standing in front of the mirror and examining her breasts. pressing here, pressing there, looking for lumps or whatsoever. seriously, what's wrong with her? cant she do this at home? in her own private toilet? why is she doing that in public? mmm, maybe she is some doctor and is trying to tell the rest of us that it's VERY important to do this examination everyday. a friend commented that those are new breasts and so she's admiring them. HAHAHA.

and there was another lady, she showered, walked to her locker and took her towel off to wipe herself dry. after that, she put on her undies. well, under normal circumstances, one would think that she's going to put on her bra but guess what? this is not normal. she started to wear her shoes. and yeah, so there she was, in her undies, putting her pair of shoes. did she think that it's super sexy to be doing that? and seriously, whatever she has, we all have. who is she trying to seduce. seriously.

actually, guys are equally weird. and NO, i did not have access to the guy's toilet. but i do see guys in the workout area. there was this time, i was doing sit-ups at some sit-up bench. and then suddenly i heard some noises. it sounded like when a guy was having sex and almost cum-ing. seriously, im not lying. in my mind, i was like " WTH, is he masturbating or what? " but when i turn to look at the guy next to me ( who was making those noises ), basically, he was just doing sit-ups like i am. omg, didnt know doing sit-ups can give you orgasm. hahaha. i was trying so hard not to laugh that i just finished it and walked away.

another time, there was this guy. he was staring at himself at the mirror for like a whole 5 minutes. basically, he was observing his nonexistent muscles. i have no idea what was he admiring about. his triceps? his biceps? his whatever-ceps? it's really funny. i was trying so hard not to laugh. and after admiring himself, he stepped up to the machine and started exercising his abs. and as he exercised, he was still staring in the mirror. i guess he was looking at where he should exercise more and if he was exercising the right part. it was really hilarious. i mean seriously, i know you have to look at yourself while exercising but this guy was admiring himself. he gave out the vibe that he believed he had the BEST body and is working now to maintain it. seriously, it's NON-EXISTENT.

oh well, so far, these are some interesting thing that i have seen during my time spent in the gym. i must say, everyday, i learn something new about people. maybe there are some people out there who thinks that im super weird and kept staring at them. but seriously, i CANNOT help it. *smilez*

Harper's Island

recently, i am such a tv junkie. ive been in front of my tv NON-STOP. from reality shows, to sitcoms, to hk drama, to variety shows. anything that is watchable, i'll watch. other than the amazing hk drama that i am currently following closely, i've just finished this thriller:

funnily, when i googled it, it seems that the viewership was not good. i wonder why. it only took me 1 day to finish 13 episodes. not only is it short, it is super exciting. you will have to guess who is the killer and in every episodes, there are people getting killed and clues are given. basically, the story is about a group of people who went to this island to attend a wedding. and slowly, one by one was killed and everyone was paranoid and wonder who was the killer. and honestly, i was quite accurate in guessing the killer. HAHAHA. although i swayed a little, but i actually suspected the correct people. wonder if it means i have the mind of a serial killer or a detective.

anyway, not to forget, everyone's cute on that show. to show that i am not just boy-crazy, i think these 2 ladies are so sexy and pretty.

this the main character in the show. her name is "Abby Mills" in the show. real name is "Elaine Cassidy". to be honest, never heard of her but i think she's pretty. she has the kind of pretty as Kristen Stewart. personally, i prefer her as i never really like Kristen. and no, im not jealous that she has Rob Pattinson as im not a big fan of him. personally, both of them did not bring out the Twilight characters as i have imagined them to be.

this is the bride. i think she is soooo pretty. her name is "Trish Wellington" in the show. her name is Katie Cassidy. funnily she and "Abby" has the same surname but they are both not related at all. "Abby" is married and has a kid and lives in Greenwich. "Trish" seems to be the daughter of famous people. well, i didnt have the patience to google more but from wikipedia, i deduce from the links her parents have. well, you need to be famous to have a page in wiki right?

i seriously think this guy is sooo good-looking. he's "Sully Sullivan", real name Matt Barr. No idea who is he but i think he is very gorgeous. well, after googling, apparently he was in "American Pie Presents Band Pie" as Brandon Vandecamp. I've watched this show a few times as i really like the idea of the frat thingy and i always thought the guys are really cute. OMG, he's one of them. no wonder i find him cute. slurrrrp.

of all the guys, this is my favorite. dont ask me why. somehow, i think he reminds me of Johnny Depp and a little of Milo Ventimiglia. his name was "Jimmy Mance", real name is CJ Thomason. nothing much about him from google or wiki but apparently he's a model. can believe why he is as he's soooo smoking hot.

finally, the main lead - "Henry Dunn", real name Christopher Gorham. again, no idea who is he but he has this dreamy look. from the internet, he seems to have acted in several tv shows but i have never watched any of them. haha. guess he's not very famous but oh well, he's delicious.

anyway, this mini series is actually full of suspense and it's really worth watching. maybe i should have changed my job and become a tv shows reviewer. my main job is to write reviews of tv shows. haha. so much fun!

宫心计

i really have to tell the world about this. i think i have practically told EVERYONE about this but still i feel the need to tell the world about this.

here is my latest craze:

this is currently showing on the local tv in hong kong. it's farking amazingly good! well, someone said it's very much like da chang jin but I DONT CARE. that korean show was soooooo slow and sooooo not interesting. if this is very similiar to that korean show, well, i think this show is soooooo much better. the costumes, the actors, the actress, the plot, everything. farking amazing. just cant explain how much i love this show. and seriously, the costumes are sooo nice that even i want to wear them. the hair, the make-up, the dresses, simply love it. i wish i was a princess in the dynasty!!!!

look at the king and queen. damn chio lah. everything is so grand and all loh. to be honest, of all the pugilistic shows that i have seen, HK always produces the BEST. just look at the SG quality. pui. so ugly. see, the picture below is so crappy and the costumes are disgusting. pui pui pui.

the 2 concubines. sooo pretty lah, the costumes. i wish i can wear them. although it kinda remind me of Queen Amidala! haha.

see, sooo pretty right? eventhe men's top is nice with all the dragons and whatsoever.

even the servants have such pretty clothes. dont you wish you can wear those clothes and just spend your time moving around the palace and amusing yourself in the garden? okay, maybe the servants dont get to do it BUT, still, they can wear very pretty clothes!

seriously, whoever is into hong kong drama, this is a MUST-WATCH. and for those who are not into hong kong drama, this is also a MUST-WATCH. bascially, it's a MUST-WATCH.

MUST-WATCH!!!!!

how should i reward myself?

time really flies. yes cliche, but it's true. i have been in hong kong for 1 year 2 days. my "anniversary" is 10/20. at times, it seems like i have just moved here. at times it seems like i have been here for ages. it's weird. anyway, it's almost year-end. i know it's premature and i may not even get a good bonus or increment ( super sad ), i am thinking of getting myself a "present" to reward myself. what's the reason for this reward? well, to be honest, i dont think i need a reason to reward myself. haha. so i have been doing some serious thinking.

okay, i have been thinking about this for a year. at times, i have the urge to just go in and buy it. but then at times, i find that it's way to expensive for me. BUT i really want to have a chanel bag! I mean it's expensive but it's classic and never goes out of trend. i can carry it when im 28, 38, 48, 58, 68, 78 or even 88. and i can share it with my mum too. although if i really buy it, i would most probably bring it to me to HK and so technically, if my mum wants to carry it, she has to come to HK or i have to be back in SG.

recently, i have seen many Balenciaga and i kinda like it. because it's big and there are different colors. BUT some friends have told me that it's too "bonia-ish" and that it's too common and there's nothing special about it. but i really think it's chic and there are so many hollywood stars carrying them. and besides, this will be half the price of a chanel. so it's actually more "affordable" as compared to the chanel. and this purple is soooooo pretty!!!

am not really a watch person as i like to have different kinds of watch and i tend to get tired of my watches very easily. but another colleague of mine has the intention to buy a rolex and so i have gone wtih him a few times to look at rolex watches. and somehow, they are appealing to me. i mean i have no intention but i wouldnt mind getting a rolex for myself. the one that i kinda like looks something like this and it cost slightly more than the chanel. again, if i were to buy this watch, i can wear it when im 28, 38, 48, 58, 68, 78, 88 and even bring it to my grave or put it in my will for my descendants. haha but the only "issue" that i have is that i am not very particular about my watches. currently, i have watches that range from SGD 12 to SGD 500.

okay, i have been planning to go to Spain for like 2 years. it was never successful as there were many changes. anyway friend and i have confirmed that we are DEFINITELY going to Spain this year. so maybe i should save my money for a good Spain trip. also, i have kinda decided that i want to go to London next year and another friend has promised to go with me. woohoo. so maybe, i should not buy anything and use that money for these 2 trips. which means, if i were to go Spain, i can get my balenciaga, mango and zara. and when i go London, i can go to topshop and H&M. woohoo!!!

mmmm, it seems like my choice is pretty obvious. so why am i still thinking about the chanel bag?

T-O-K-Y-O

went to tokyo for business during the first week of october. one word - SHIOKS. business class ticket, 5-star hotel, free meals. SHIOKS. i wish i can go back more often. am asking my boss to relocate me there. but i guess it's just a request that is never going to be answered. but then again, one will never know. in my company, seriously, change is the only constant.

anyway, first time in tokyo. been planning to go tokyo for holiday for the longest time but somehow, it never happen. always thought it's expensive. actually it IS expensive. went shopping a bit and didnt get anything at all. they are sooo expensive. even their ah lian clothes are expensive. went to this mall called 109 in Shibuya. basically japanese ah lian clothes. OMG, a skirt cost USD 80. seriously, i dont know how these young ah lians can afford to buy clothes in japan. went to their so-called normal shopping malls. nothing is below USD 100. seriously, not my place for shopping. wanted to go mount fuji, cant even see it from my office. okay it's a little bit too far but many told me if it's a really clear sky, i can see it. anyway, not the season to go. disneyland and disneysea - wanted to go but it's super lame to go alone. another place i wanna go is kyoto, didnt go. japanese fish market, couldnt wake up. basically, i did nothing during this trip. haha. wasted.

best thing that happen to me is this:

yes, i was zipping through tokyo in this baby. of course i didnt rent it and neither did i buy this. a very nice client of mine offered to give me a tour of tokyo over the weekend and so this is his convertible. it's AMAZING. when the ferrari went really fast, it was an amazing feeling. it's a mixture of fear and excitement. fear because my client doesnt seems to be a good driver. excited because it's really fast and the vroom-vroom sound is solid. couldnt stop smiling when i was in the car. got many attention too. hee hee.

i'll let the picture do the talking.

the view of the tokyo tower as we drove past it. because it's a convertible, i could just snap it while sitting down. an advantage of owning a convertible, heh heh.

a beautiful view of tokyo. took this when i was on the roof-top of my client's apartment. NOPE, i didnt go to his apartment. it was very kind of him to check with his security about the roof access and he got me there. amazing view. and yes, he's FILTHY RICH. and nope, he's like an uncle to me. haha

the tokyo tower in my hands!! remains me of the japanese drama that i used to love - "OVERTIME", staring my favorite sorimachi takashi!!!

another city view of tokyo. actually it seems like im on the empire state building in NY. i can basically see tokyo. so cool.

this is Shinjuku. i dont know why but i was dying to go there and when i reach there, it's just another shopping area. maybe i didnt explore enough. not enough time. hee hee.

aaah, this is Shibuya. the famous cross junction that is always seen in Japanese drama or movies. on the first night that i was there, i didnt know this was it. i always thought it's in Shinjuku and so i was searching for it in Shinjuku. only when my colleague told me it's in Shibuya then i realized i have actually crossed it. hee hee.

not sure where is this. cant remember. and no i was not drunk. it's just that i realized all my pictures look pretty much the same. guess tokyo looks pretty much the same everywhere.

aah was at a temple and happened to see a wedding ceremony. everyone looked so grand here. but to be honest, the colors make it look more like funeral than wedding. haha. but then again, it's the culture. maybe im just so used to having red during weddings.

was so excited when i see this group of ladies. they were all wearing kimono. sooo pretty. this was in harajuku. wanted to take pictures of some cosplay but unfortunately, i didnt see any. but anyhow, pretty kimonos are good enough. BUT, only the kimonos are pretty. haha.

not sure where is this. i think it's probably Ginza. again, this was taken when the car stopped at the traffic light. see, no reflection from the glass windows. another advantage of having a convertible. hee hee.

very very very famous band - SMAP. known them since i was 12. thought this poster was rather cute. if only i actually bump into them in person. haha. would have fainted on the spot. but then again, i prefer sorimachi takashi ANYTIME.

am now "begging" my boss to let me go tokyo again.

SIBEH PEK CHEK!

super duper pek chek. so pek chek that i just want to drop everything and not do anything and go home and sleep. i wanna scream and kill someone. the more i type, the more pek chek i get. argh.

in the morning, this friend told me he doesnt want to break up with his gf but yet he cannot forgive her gf over something. i asked him what and was expecting something like " she cheat on me with my best friend " but guess what he said? he said " she made a silly mistake and i really cannot forgive her as she didnt ' consult ' before doing that thing " and i go " DUDE, you are an idiot. and this is not a valid reason. you know you have other reason for wanting to break up with her and you're just finding excuse for yourself for not being a jerk to break up with her. " he denied of course. and i told him i am not going to say anything to him about this as he is a farking idiot and i think he's being super lame for telling me such a thing. fark. why do people get so blind when they are in love. if i am the gf, i would have dumped him when he told me the reason before allowing this idiotic jerk to dump me. *pui*

and then 2 hours later, a friend who had been staying with me over the weekend sent me a message to tell me that he broke something in my bathroom. i was FARKING pissed. reason being, he broke something which is not in a "breaking stage". i have been living in my rented apartment almost a year and i have not broken anything and he came just one weekend and he broke the thing in my shower? i was seriously farking pissed. he told me that it can be fixed by the superglue but he cant do it for me as he has no glue. WTF. go to the nearest supermart, buy one and fix it. dont give me such shit. he said he is very sorry for being so clumsy and if the landlord demand compensation, he will pay for it. FARKING HELL, of course you're paying for it. you broke it, idiot. i am really pissed. i am very anal when it comes to such things. i really do not mind friends staying with me BUT dont mess up my house. i totally hate it when they try to act smart and boil water for me. I DONT NEED YOUR HELP TO BOIL WATER. i can boil my own water and i have my personal preference and routines. dont come and try to be helpful and act like you're taking care of me. if you need to drink water, freaking buy a bottle of mineral water from the supermart. maybe i should stop housing people in my apartment. i shall make sure they pass all my criteria before i agree. anyway, guess what? i came home, i bought superglue and i tried to fix the thing, it's NOT FARKING FIXABLE. so i messaged my friend immediately: "hey, it cannot be fix. i have no idea how you broke it as it's not even on the verge of breaking. i have no idea what the landlord will say." am seriously so pissed that i cannot sleep and am penning this down!

another idiot just completed the 3rd strike. i have this client, he's a retard. apologies, he's worse than a retard. he is annoying and dumb. for the past few weeks, i have been trying to sell hm something. and they were almost buying. every day, he would call me and pester me for at least 30 mins on the pricing methodology of our products. i have explained to him a million times but this retard just cannot get it. and he's always asking for EVERYTHING to be in black and white in the contract. i asked if his legal team asked for it, he would replied " i havent passed to them yet but i know they will ask for it " to which i replied " no, pass it to them and if they have questions, i will get them to talk to my legal team " and this retard simply refused. he's been pestering me so much that i was really annoyed by him that there was once, after i hung up, i shouted " farking idiot " and everyone around me was like " woah, are you alright? " seriously, i have no idea why his manager is still keeping him as an employee. anyway, after so weeks of tolerating with this retard, this retard told me that due to change in business plans, they would not need the service from us but they would take it at the global level. fine. no $$ and i have to put up with this idiot. and this retard then asked me for the contracts that were signed at the global level. i told him i have no idea as those are handled out of NY and he said " could you help me to check? " and i said " I CANT. i have no freaking information at all " and he pestered me for another 30 mins, telling me why he needs the contracts and all the lame excuses. i told him to look for his NY counterpart to get it. and he said " if you send to me, i can check with them. " and i said " but i have no (farking) idea which contracts are you talking about. " and he said " why dont you send whatever you have to me and i'll check wtih them. then i told him " look, i dont have the contracts. i will ask my contracts team for it. " and finally, he hung up. after that call, he sent me an email, demanding that i send him the executed contracts by tomorrow. FARKING RETARD. well, so i simply put in a request to my contracts team to ask for the executed contracts. and guess what i got? this contracts manager asked me " why would a local rep need an US contracts " WTF! i cannot even view executed contracts? as i was too farking pissed to get back to this guy, i have not replied him yet. tomorrow, i am going to ask " are you saying that local rep is not allowed to view global contracts? " FARKING HELL.

PEK CHEK! PEK CHEK! PEK CHEK! PEK CHEK!

I am a Great Wall Climber!

this is a very proud me! i am officialy a Great Wall Climber. okok , maybe i didnt climb the whole wall but i did climb lah. and seriously, it was TIRING. it didnt look very tiring but it was. trust me. i was huffing and puffing and huffing and puffing. and in the temperature of like 18 Degrees Celsius ( i think ) , i was perspiring. a pity it's kinda misty and so cant see the wall properly but it was huge.

guess the pictures spoke more than my words. yes the pictures are very nice because it was misty and maybe i am not a good photographer but hey, it's quite a wonder how this wall is built. so hurrah to the Chinese! yay!

ooh when i arrived in Beijing, it coincided with the final rehearsal for the Chinese national day and guess what? they sealed up the WHOLE TOWN! not only do they close the roads, they close the pedestrain walkway too. they do not allow anyone on the street, not even to catch a glimpse of the rehearsal. WTH. pissed like crazy. and so me and friend just stayed in the hotel ( thank god the hotel is a good one ) and slept really early to get ready for our Great Wall adventure! okay, maybe not adventure but we really need to get up super early to have breakfast and to be picked up by our local tour.

talking about the local tour, friend and i pleasantly surprised that the tour guide's command of english is good. we can understand him very well and he explains all the historical stuffs to us pretty well. and his name is kinda interesting. his name is " Forest Song ". haha i am so paiseh to call him "Forest" as i know i might just burst out laughing.

ooh our tour also consist of the Ming Tombs. Basically we went to visit one of the tombs of one of the emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Apparently, there are 13 tombs and only 2 are opened up. mainly because we cannot afford to open all up until our technology allows us to open it without harm. accordingly, when the tomb was opened up, as air gets in, everything gets destroyed. and this tomb was opened up because the emperor was not very good and so the chinese dont mind having the stuffs destroyed. haha. and besides, it seems that a lot of things got burnt and destroyed during the cultural revelation.

nothing much from the Ming Tombs. all the pictures didnt turn out nice. anyway, the big red box is the coffin and the small boxes are the jewellery. and the 2 empress were buried with the emperor as they both died before him and so they could be buried togets.

well, a trip to beijing will not be complete with the tour of the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. although i have visisted the forbidden city previously, but i still want to revisit it. it's kinda of like going home. hahaha. after my previous trip to the forbidden city and after i confessed to my friends that i feel bad for the maids and servants who had to travelled on foot to all parts of the palaces, they started calling me "princess" or rather " ge ge" . hahaha. but to be honest, it's soo huge that after a while, everything kinda looked the same. friend and i just go " oh i thought we saw this just now? " and we realized that the emperors, empresses and concubines loved to entertain themselves in the gardens. so friend and i tried to entertain ourselves in the garden too. didnt turn out to be that entertaining. and i still pity those servants and maids for having to run around the palaces. friend think that they are only dedicated to one area and only need to know one area well and so they need to pass messages. maybe she's right. and friend made a very interesting comment. she said if she had a summer house and a house, she wouldnt make both of them the same. but apparently, in the olden times, only one design. haha. well, as evidence, i have uploaded some pictures from summer palace and some from forbidden city. and they all looked like they are from the same area! haha!

think we both look darn pretty here. *winks*

Absurd Phone Conversation

picked up one of the most absurd phone calls i have received this year. i wonder if the caller thinks that i am crazy or just trying to be funny. but seriously, i think she's retarded. here's the whole conversation.

Me: Hello!
Caller: Hi, can I speak to Mr Bloomberg please?
Me: Sorry?
Caller: Can I speak to Mr Bloomberg please?
Me: Eh,this is Bloomberg, the company. Who are you looking for?
Caller: Mr Bloomberg please.
Me: Why are you looking for Mr Bloomberg?
Caller: In my database, I have Mr Bloomberg registered under this telephone number. I would like to sell an apartment to Mr Bloomberg.
Me: Oh, Mr Bloomberg is not in Hong Kong.
Caller: When will Mr Bloomberg be back?
Me: Mr Bloomberg is the mayor of New York. He's not going to be in Hong Kong.
Caller: Oh, thank you. Bye.

the above conversation was 100% true. i didnt make it up. my office number is registered as Mr Bloomberg in some property agent database. it really baffles me on how did that happen. seriously. on hindsight, im pretty retarded too because i was actually talking to her when i could have just said " wrong number ". my colleague told me that i should have told her i am Mr Bloomberg's daughter and then see which apartment she's trying to sell. i told him i dont want to see the apartment as i might fall in love with it but i wouldnt have money to buy/rent it at all.

What's Worse?

have been wondering recently abut the different situations that a person can be in, for no reason at all. haha guess i am trying to make myself think more. but it turns out, when i do that, i think of stupid things. haha. i guess im just super lame and super boliao.

so, WHAT'S WORSE?

...having a female boss or having a male boss who behaves/thinks like a woman?
personally, both are equally bad.

...having greasy hair or pimply skin?
i rather have greasy hair. at least i can wash them and they shouldnt turn greasy immediately. so i would have non-greasy hair at least 2 hours a day, assuming i wash my hair twice a day. pimply skin, it will take ages to clear up.

...being a nerd or being a bimbo?
definitely bimbo. but i believe some would rather be a bimbo. at least bimbos are popular, in some sense.

...dying from an accident or being paralyzed from an accident?
i would die, for sure.

...losing your legs or losing your arms?
again, both are equally bad. cannot imagine losing my limbs.

...being fat and tall or fat and short?
one will be called a giant or wrestler if you're the former. if im the latter, people would probably just called me round. which sounds cuter. haha

...being a brat or being a bitch?
personally, i dont know. maybe being the bitch is worse.

...having body odor or having bad breath?
equally BAD.

...having no friends or having enemies?
being lonely is definitely much better than being hated.

...having a handsome but dumb boyfriend or having an ugly but intelligent boyfriend?
well, i guess i would be able to accept the latter in the long-run. but in the short-run, i should prefer the former. haha

...not being able to swim or not being able to cycle?
definitely swim. i loooove water sports!

guess im really lame. haha!

ARGH!

this picture is soooo cute right? i wonder who took this picture and what makes the baby so annoyed. to be honest, im not a big fan of babies but this picture is really pretty cute.

anyway, i wanted to complain about how inconsiderate hong kong-ers can be. it's farking annoying. i was sooo annoyed by the fact that they can be sooo inconsiderate.

on one occasion, i had dinner with some colleagues - 3 locals and 1 singaporean. this singaporean was actually in HK for holiday and decided to meet up with us for dinner. this guy is an indian-sri lankan but somehow, he can speak mandarin. accordingly to him, he picked it up in army. anyway, these 3 locals were soooo farking annoying. they were speaking in cantonese! seriously, yes this guy understands mandarin but he is NOT a chinese and why and how can he understand cantonese? they were conversing totally in cantonese right in front of the poor guy. i mean come on, he CANNOT understand what they were trying to tell him at all. i had to kept saying " hey, english please ". i really have no freaking idea why they kept speaking in a foreign language. so inconsiderate! what is wrong with these people?

another evidence that the locals are inconsiderate is when they refused to move their big fat butt after their meal during the busy lunch hours. on several separate occasion, i had to wait for some idiots to finish their nonsensical chatting ( i assumed they were talking about rubbish after lunch ) even though they had finished their food and drinks and were just sitting at the table chatting. God gave them eyes to see and they should be able to see that there was an extra long queue of people waiting to get a table so that we could all have our lunch. seriously, this is PURE COMMON SENSE and these people did not have it at all. i am so annoyed at them!! if they wanted to chat, go to a coffee house where it's meant for chatting and chilling and dont hog the seats at the busy restaurants/cafes/eateries where hungry people were waiting for their chance to fill their stomach.

argh. hate these farking idiots.

what's going on?

woah, almost 2 weeks since i last updated this thingy. am pretty too lazy to do it and also basically nothing exciting was happening to me. sad but true. work is as usual. the same old shit. social life is as usual. the same old plain white piece of paper.

oh, went back home for a short holiday over the national's day weekend. nope, i am not a patriotic person. a friend/colleague's wedding is the reason. the wedding was pretty nice and simple. met up with friends. good catching up session. also a good drinking session. managers were drunk and started dancing, jumping and talking non-stop rubbish. hilarious.

oh met up with my primary school friends. yes, havent met them for freaking 16 years. was afraid that it would be awkward as i was never close to them or all the shit. just started chatting with one of the guys as he has a bloomberg and so we can ib chat. then was kinda chatting with the other guy over msn. and the other rest, over Facebook. to be honest, facebook has brought back many friends for me. anyway, met up with them in st james, after the wedding. was kinda wasted and so i was totally crazy. they couldnt stop laughing and kept saying im crazy. oh well, after 16 years, this is the "new me ". haha! anyhow, it was pretty awesome. we chatted and did some catching up and i forced them to have supper/breakfast with me. haha! anyway, it was good fun.

oh, also met up with secondary school friends. was chilling at some place in katong and then we decided to continue at the KTV. amazingly, everyone's kinda wasted as well. drinking and singing from 2am to 530am. super sleepy and all. but again, it was good fun.

oh, one of my secondary school friends is getting married next year. super excited. cant wait. going to be the bride's entourage. we were discussing about the colors, the materials, the style of the dresses that we're going to wear. apparently, the day color is either fuchsia or turqoise. night-wise, the ever-classic black. anyway, i have told them i will do a one-shoulder thingy. hee hee. something like this:

oh, this is for the day. as for the night, i am still googling. but then again, this is one of my idea. i really really like this dress. but then again, maybe i just like the "green". haha im a green freak. anything green , i will like. anyway will continue to look for ideas. and i really need to lose weight. sigh.

oh, a friend is coming to HK to visit me and we are going to Beijing. woohoo! cant wait man. i kinda miss travelling with her. we were supposed to go Spain and it has been 2 years since we have started talking about it. we even took spainish lessons togets so that we can speak simple spainish when we go to Spain. BUT..now we have forgotten everything and we have still not been to Spain. actually i can remember a bit. ? como estas? yo soy bien. ?y tu? that's about it. haha.

oh, talking about marriage, another good friend of mine is getting married and im SUPER EXCITED. why? because she has always said that she doesnt want to get married so early and omg, she's getting married end of next year!!! and she was dating her boyfriend for only a year BUT i know she's super happy with him and she knows he is the one for her. seriously, when she told me on Tuesday, i couldnt stop my "OMG". i was " OMG-ing" for like almost 10 mins. my colleagues thought i have gone mad. HAHAHA. and guess what? she has asked me to be her bridesmaid!! YAY!! this is my FIRST time being a bridesmaid. i cant wait man. therefore, i really really really really really really really really really need to lose a lot of weight. SIGH. i have been exercising rather regularly but i need to change my diet but i am too greedy. haha. anyway, i have gotten another "personal trainer" at work. this new guy who joined our team is such a health freak. he was talking about nutrition and health and fitness and gyming and everything for an hour. amazing. and he said he is willing to help me. niceeeeeeeee.

oh well, this is basically what's been going on. nothing interesting. *yawn* i need to get a life. just realized, i am not going out enough. but then again, i am lazy. and also, i realized, i really do not really need friends. am i a freak? maybe. *shrugs*

Have I Really Changed?

recently a friend told me that ever since i move to HK, i am not the same. she said i was not as jovial and as happy-go-lucky as i used to be. she said i have become emotional, reckless, rude, snappy and jaded. she said she feel that whatever i said or do, i never really think through it and i just say or do it. and im more rude and come across as unfriendly. she was even afraid that my thoughts and doings would be warped by my current boss ( who is not very well-liked by some and seriously misunderstood by many ).

i asked a few others if they think i am like that. some said that i am not so happy now and i seemed to be more tired but they believed it's due to work. some said i am still the same, crazy and laughing all the way. some said i have become more bad-tempered. some said i have matured. some said they cannot comment and some said not very sure or i dont know.

seriously, i do think i have changed. for the better or for the worse, i cannot comment. to be honest, i agree that i am more jaded and bitter now and i believe it's because of the work that im doing, the environment that im in and the responsibilities that i have, and maybe the people im hanging out with. i choose to believe that i have definitely matured and i have learn how to take care of myself in some ways or another. i have learn to deal with loneliness and also to deal with shits and everything. I also believe i have seen more and learnt more about life and the real world during my 7 months in HK. it has shown me reality and i am kinda jaded because ideals and reality does not gel and i finally get it. i think. to be honest, i am learning a lot from my boss. he may have the weirdest ideas and the worst personality or whatsoever, he has shown me how to play mind games in the right way, how to work smart and not work hard and all the nitty-gritty which can never be learnt via textbooks, lectures, trainings or whatsoever.

actually, i feel that it's not just me who has changed. i feel that now, i can handle more "big' stuffs while this friend of mine is still in her eggshell, protected and skewed. if she's afraid that my thinking and logic will be warped by my boss, i am afraid that her boss is not doing any justice by being fake and nice to her and allow her to think that everything's and everyone's nice and perfect. she told me that at times, we can and we should take on some losses because we might get something better in return. I told her i agree but not in every cases. we cant just take on the losses in every single cases or situations we faced. that's too stupid. at least i think it's not being very smart. maybe i have really grown and she has stayed stagnant and i kinda feel unfair that she's comparing herself to me. maybe i have become more haolian that i think she is in no position to be compared with me. maybe, i really have no idea.

anyway, i am whatever you say i am.

Hao Lian! *pui* - part 2

after i've shared my experienced about the 2 haolian girls that i have met in my life, i realized i have forgotten 2 more haolian-ers whom i've met recently. seriously, i really do attract a lot of haolian-ers. HAHAHA. wonder why. maybe i am too easy-going and so haolian-ers think that im actually impressed with them.

anyway, recently, i got to know this auntie. she is also a fellow singaporean who got married to Hong Kong. so we were basically chatting over MSN over nonsense. and then suddenly, she starts to haolian to me about how filial she is to her parents. she was telling me that she bought BUSINESS class SQ tickets for her parents to fly from Singapore to Hong Kong. she was telling me she brought her dad out to wherever he wanted to go. she was telling me she cooked really nice food for her parents. she was telling me her dad bought her a tv but she refused to accept because she wanted her dad to keep the money for himself. seriously, do i look like i care? i mean i know you're filial but you dont have to prove to me that you are really filial. filial piety is not meant to be used as a tool for showing-off. and occassionaly, she will sms me just to tell me what she has just done for her parents. when im bored, i'll reply her. but most of the time, i ignore. i mean i do like her as she's really kind and nice but i dont have to know how filial she is.

recently, just realized this other guy at work is SUPER haolian and whiney. he complained NON-STOP. and when i said non-stop, i was not exaggerating. everyday, when i start a conversation with him, he would start complaining. and to make matters worse, his complaints were always the same. and in his complaints, he's always whining about how much work he had to do, how stupid the sales people are, how annoying the clients are, how no one was helping him and all the shit. seriously, initially i was okay to hear those shit from him. but then his shit got repeated over and over and over again and it's the same old shit. come on, we all know that you're doing a lot of shit and etc etc and we really empathize with you on your work BUT seriously, do you have to complain non-stop? he started with complaining about the workload. then he moved on with how horrible the other teams are and how uncooperative and inefficient they were. and then he moved on to lashing out at the salesforce for not doing their job. and guess what? not only did he complain to me and my team, he complain to the other teams as well, regardless if it was the first time they have met. seriously, that is not very professional. all of us have our own shit and we know our own shit. the fact that your shit was not moving as smoothly as you wanted it to be, it didnt give you the right to lash it out at us. and today, he seriously cross the line. we had a meeting with our global manager and it was a sales meeting. i asked him to speak at the meeting about his recent successes and all the shit. but guess what? he ended up complaining. and i can hear from the other line ( it was a teleconference ) that my global manager is pissed to the max. seriously, grow up and stop complaining! and when he complained, it's full of arrogance and it could get rather annoying.

and to add on to this, he's also super haolian. first, he commented that 2 of our team-mates are not proactive enough to be in sales. and i told him " dude, look. they have their way or working and they know their shit. you not seeing them proactive doesnt mean they are not sales-y enough. " and guess what? this guy, on certain occassion, tried to act like sales and started to 'sell" our products when his job was to implement the service. this really pissed off one of my colleague. seriously, we know you're good at what you're doing and we know you're a good salesperson, but at this moment, you're not a salesperson and so dont do what we were hired to do! and there was once, we went out for lunch. and he started lashing out at my team for not selling a certain product which was easier to implement. he was rattling on and on about how certain companies need our service and why were we not selling them. i said " seriously, do you know why? because this is not the solution for them. why do we want to sell them something that doesnt work? " and he said " so we're just going to let these money go? " and i replied " that is why we have different products. and we sell those products to these people. " then he kept quiet. OMG. he knows nothing about what we do and the products and he had the cheek to "criticize" me and my team for not selling? guess what? his manager actually support him. DUHZ. another stubborn cow.

the recent saga was that he was on a call with the client. and the client told him something which the current service that was sold to the client was not compatible. without a hesitation, he started to lash it out at my colleague for selling the wrong solution to the client. seriously, how can you trust a client? even if the client was right, how would it make us look in front of the client if we were on the opposite side? and so, my manager has to mitigate the whole thing. trying to make him see that client may not be always telling the truth and we need to find out the real reason and etc etc. seriously, i thought it was pretty common sense!!!

funnily, yesterday he was complaining to me about the NY team. he said he was on the phone with them till late on Friday evening to hear them argue over senseless stuffs. and he said that he could finish what they want to give them in one day or even half a day. but because he was sooo busy with all the shit on a daily basis, he didnt have time. but because he's so "efficient", he would do it and send what they needed from him so that it would showcase his efficiency. well, when i started talking to him, he had already started doing the shit. 3 hours later, i asked if he's done, he said " this is taking longer than i expected. it's not tough but it's manual and takes time to put things together " at that moment i was like " HAHAHA, so you're not exactly that efficient, arent you? " he really think he's that efficient and good that everyone else but him suck. so i said " eh, i thought you said it's pretty easy? " and he said " oh well, im giving them more than what they're expecting and so.." i was sooo tempted to say " ya right " but i didnt. all i said was " oh, good luck. " *rolls eyes*

on a side note, another team-mate of mine commented that she's cool with him. i told her that you're cool with him because you know nothing and so she could only pass it to him and trust him to do the job. and she argued that she really thinks that he's good. i argued back that i didnt deny the fact that he's good but seriously, he should stop complaining. she still insisted that he's good and she's cool with him. seriously, she thought everyone's cool with her. that's not the case. wanted to tell her but i know she'll deny. and so, never mind. save my breath for breathing.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

does this only happen in dramas?

was sharing a cab with another colleague the other day. i like him. i prefer to call him my friend instead of colleague because i really like him. anyway, we were just chit-chatting. he asked me " so have you found any more new friends? " and i was like " eh, nope! how sad is that? but i think i have lost my zeal to make new friends. i just find it too tiring. sometimes, i just do things alone. can be lonely but anyhow, i'll get over the loneliness. " he then replied " i think you're spending too much time concentrating on friends at work. so you dont have time and energy to do it outside work. just my analysis "

now that really sets me thinking. am i just tired of making friends or am i just interested in making friends at work? to be honest, i have no idea at all. sometimes, i am really tired of making friends. i hate the whole process of going out and meeting new people and wonder if they will become my friends. i am no longer in high school where making friends is part and parcel of life. but again, to be honest, i do feel lonely at times in Hong Kong. because i have no friends, i got to stay at home and watch tv. not that i am grumbling but sometimes, i just want to be out but there's no one to go out with. but then again, i think i am really getting used to this sporadic loneliness.

at work, i wouldnt think my team-mates are my friends. yes we hang out at work and sometimes after work but mainly because there's business to be done. i dont mind hanging out with my team-mates or my boss but sometimes, i just dont want to see them again after sitting near them for 10 hours at work. maybe this is what tires me out. seeing the same people over and over again but yet not wanting to make an effort to meet new people. what a contradiction. i seriously have no idea the difference between friends, colleagues, good friends, best friends, acquaintances or whatsoever anymore. now i think my train of thoughts are all messed up. haha!

thinking back, when i was in SG, i usually spent my weekends at home too. although i have friends in SG. i mean most of my friends are in SG but i usually just spend it at home, nuahing and watching tv. so then again, maybe im just getting nuah. haha. actually to be honest, although i seems like an extrovert and can make friends easily, i am not really that extroverted. i prefer to think i am an introvert, forced to be an extrovert. i dont tihnk i make friends that easily because i dont really trust friendship. it's just that somehow, i am always conforming to the social perception of me being the friendly one. no idea how it all started. but honestly, i think i am not friendly, im just easygoing, too easygoing if you ask me. i want to change this but it's not easy. but i am trying. actually not really. haha!

Ugly Chinese

i am a chinese. i am not ashamed that i am a chinese. but i dont like it when people said im a china-chinese. i didnt mean to generalize or to be rude but i seriously think the china-chinese sucks. they are rude, arrogant and uncivilized. they think the world of themselves when they are actually very unsightly.

recently, i had a very very bad experience with a group of annoying, ugly and disgusting china-chinese. i was on the plane. when i got to my seat, i was like " WTF, chinese ". i was seated in the midst of a huge group of chinese. they were noisy, rude, rowdy and they think the plane belongs to them. they were playing "musical chairs" throughout the whole flight. one moment, ugly chinese woman sat next to me, next moment, ugly chinese man sat next to me, the next moment, ugly chinese woman decided to ask the ugly chinese man to sit somewhere else so that she can put her legs on the seat. WTF. they even asked if i can take the window seat instead of the aisle seat. i told them with a firm " NO! " then i plugged into my music ( thank god for music )

halfway through the flight, the chinese woman next to me was flipping through the magazine and decided to buy the ugliest watch inside that catalog. trust me, there are many nice things inside but the chinese woman has to choose the ugliest watch i've ever seen. it's the kind of watch only 2 persons in the world would like : the designer and the stupid chinese. anyway i was sleeping and was woken up by the racket ABOVE and BESIDE me. apparently, chinese woman decided to pay with credit card but then changed her mind and wanted to pay with cash and etc etc. so chinese woman and another chinese woman was discussing with the air stewardess RIGHT next to me. WTF. they were going on and on and on. simply because the stewardess' english is not good and the chinese' english was bad. they were arguing about something very simple. and a few times, they actually hit my head accidentally. i went " HEY WATCH IT " and they just ignored me ( well, the stewardess apologized ). they were haggering around me for a good 30 mins and i got so pissed off, i stood up and went to the toilet. super annoying.

thank god, they finished when i was back from the toilet. but as i was still annoyed, i decided to be as irritating as they were. i pushed my seat ALL THE WAY DOWN so that the chinese behind me will feel uncomfortable. he had accidentally grabbed my hair a few times and also kicked my chair non-stop. and then i kicked the chair in front of me continuously so that he can feel how his fellow friend had been doing to me. HAHA. and when the plane landed, i refused to stand up and allow them to take their stuffs. and then i stood up to get my stuffs and then i sat down again. HAHA. i can so see their kiasu face, all worried and annoyed. but i didnt care. i was really really pissed.

again, i do not want to generalize but most of the time and most of my friends agree that chinese-chinese are a disgrace! *puke*

Racist & Selfish! *pui*

was talking to this friend of mine. actually am not sure if i can call him a friend. but anyhow, it doesnt matter. so this friend and i was just chatting. we were talking in general about people who play the field and about people who are super-duper committed.

i personally respect the players as i feel that they have the guts to play and the guts to admit that they are players. at the very least, they never give anyone false hopes and lead them on to think that there will be happily everafter. on the other hand, i also respect the super-duper committed kinds. i salute them for being so committed that they can do anything for the other half. it takes a lot a lot a lot of effort and energy to do that and not everyone has that kind of energy. but that doesnt mean i despise the rest. generally i guess it depends.

So..this is the conversation:

me: so would you rather have a committed relationship or would you rather play the field?
he: i want to be neither. i want to have committed sex relationship.
me: huh? what do you mean by that?
he: well, i dont want to bear the commitments of being a boyfriend but i want to have a sexual relationship with just one partner.
me: eh you mean a sex buddy?
he: kinda but not really. i dont want my sex buddy to sleep around though.
me: huh? what kind of relationship is this? you want to have sex relationship with this girl but yet you dont want to bear any responsibility and yet you dont allow her to sleep around. WTF. isnt that selfish?
he: well, sorry but i am kinda racist. can you imagine screwing someone who has just been screwed by an indian? maybe an ang-moh is still alright, but not an indian.
me: WHAT? you mean you will never screw someone who has been dating an indian? and you would only date a chinese?
he: yup! correct!
me: WTF. that is soooo racist and soooo selfish. you cannot promise the girl anything but yet you expect the girl to be with you ONLY. and you think you're superior to other races just because you're chinese? who do you think you are?
he: well, i have no lack of girls if i want to sleep around. so the fact that im committed to just one girl sexually, that's quite a thing already.
me: seriously, good luck.

to be honest, im very disgusted by his thinking and all. how can anyone be sooo racist and so selfish? seriously. *puke*

Hao Lian! *pui*

seriously, i have no idea why. i seems to be able to attract " hao lian " people to talk to me. basically " hao lian" means arrogant and show-off. i have no idea if it's my face, my responses or my attitude that made these hao-lianers think that i am actually interested in the stuffs that they are hao-lianing to me. so werid. to date, i can only remember 2 such person who like to hao-lian to me for nothing.

i remember in secondary school, when i was 13/14, i have this classmates. she was FOREVER haolian-ing to me about how she only buys branded goods and how guys are mesmerized with her. seriously, to start haolian-ing, i believe one needs to be of a certain standard. i am not saying that this classmate of mine was sub-standard BUT seriously, i wasnt sure if she was haolian-ing or lying. with regards to branded goods, the only branded stuffs that i've seen on her are t-shirts. seriously, how branded was that??!!! okok maybe to a teenager, it was. BUT seriously, she didnt need to call me EVERYTIME she bought a new Versace, D&G or DKNY t-shirt. do i look like i really care? as for guys, she wasnt exactly a beauty, not even average-looking. she's kinda huge and has very fair skin ( not the nice fair but the white fair and it made her look sick ). so whenver she haolian-ed that her boyfriend was very good to her and etc etc, she could only show me the picture of a guy. period. 0r there would be times, when she haolianed to me about how this ang-moh tried to pick up her at her estate and this ang moh was drop-dead gorgeous. till this day, i had never seen that ang-moh. interesting. but seriously, i hope to meet up with her again. i wanna see what she is doing now and how is life treating her. tried googling her and fb-ing her but nowhere to be found. still trying. wish me luck!

then recently, i kinda make a new friend at work. she covers the taiwan market and so do i and so we happen to have dinners and lunches a few times in taipei. and while having lunches and dinners, we kinda need to chat right? and so we chatted. well, initially, i was just trying to dig out more information about herself and so i was asking general questions. but at times, her answers were pretty interesting. i remembered, i once asked her " so do you get pick up by clients a lot? " in fact, i have asked this questions to many sales reps in my office and 99% of them would answer " aiyah, this is just a number game. and it doesnt really matter loh " but this friend of mine replied " of course i do get picked up, in fact several times. but of course i didnt accept their invitations to dinners and all.... " and she went on and on about how to reject clients nicely and how not to whatever whatever. SERIOUSLY, i am not interested to know how your clients picked you up. it was just a conversational question. another time, we were talking about school. so just talking about general stuff in school. she said " actually i wanted to keep a low profile in school but somehow, it's not that easy. i was always being noticed by people in school. in fact, im kinda like the high-flyer in school. i can study quite well and i excel in sports and stuffs " mmm, what did she expect me to say? all i said was " orh " . period. i didnt even praise her or anything but every now and then, she will re-emphasize that she is a high-flyer in school and she's darn popular with guys and etc etc etc. so haolian right??? *puke*

BUT.....on one occassion, i managed to "overturn" her haolian-ness. she was once haolian-ing to me that she and the Asia sales manager are kinda closed as he was the one who helped her to relocate to HK ( oh she's a fellow singaporean who relocated to HK around the same time as me. however, she is alawys faking the taiwanese accent which gets on my nerves . argh!). she mentioned that whenever the sales manager is in HK, they will definitely sit down and have a nice long chat. so one day, while having lunch, she mentioned " finally it's friday and the HK manager is not around. yay! " and to that i replied " oh, but the Asia manager is in HK right? " and she gave a very shocked look and said " really? he's in hk? i thought he has left. are you sure he's in HK? " and to that i replied " yup, im absolutely sure. just saw him before i left for lunch. mmm, you mean you havent spoken to him yet? thought you guys will always chat when he's in HK? " to that, she kept quiet and changed the topic. HAHAHAHA. that was my happiest moment of the week!
