what a bad week....*sighz*

all bad things happen together....as i quote Shakespeare in Hamlet... "when sorrows come, they come not single spies, but in battalions" this is really a bad week...but it's okay... let's rejoice in the presence of God... *laughs*

let's see....this whole week...i was reprimanded by my boss THREE times...can you believe it...in just 5 days..i was scolded 3 times..that's like 3/5 of the week!!! that's really really BAD !!! the 3 times i was scolded were for the following reasons:

(1) I sent a note to the top management and omitted one of the customer's name. Another customer sent a note to query on why did we miss this person out when we have been informed of this newbie. Hence, boss got irritated and sent a note to say it's totally unprofessional and embarrassing to be reminded by the customer again that our distribution list is not updated.... *SIGHZ*

(2) I sent out another note to all our internal people without my boss's review, without coordinating well with the management's time and without coordinating weel with the Hong Kong team.... *SIGHZ*

(3) I screwed up the coordination of an internal event.... *SIGHZ*

and just before the day ends today...boss has to call me and another colleague to a room...and scold us...she said..she appreciate initiatives..but also appreciates instructions-taking...she said...she is tired of apologizing to minor things which we shouldnt have done wrongly...she said...the whole team is looking at us, the support function, for value-add support...and we have not been doing our job well...boss wanted us to reflect on how we can improve...and after this whole harsh speech..she just left the room!!

SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE SHOCKED LOOK ON MY COLLEAGUE'S FACE! she seemed so lost....*shrugs* to me...i feel so much better after boss's scoldings... at least i know why she is so pissed off about...and everything...heh heh heh...not that i like to be scolded but i know it's my fault....i totally screw up everything!!! *grins*

on second thoughts....i thought boss was going to break down as she spoke to us....*SHOCKED*
