i'm a lady driver

yesterday was driving home...was going out onto TPE from a filter lane from pasir ris...and then i cut across to the middle lane and well, there was this motorcyclist who was speeding and i sort of like blocked his way..*laughs* yeah, i thnk all the motorcyclists out there are hurling abuse at me...and then somehow he managed to swerve to another lane and sped past me and of course..when he sped past me..he had to turn and look at the driver and when he saw me..i am 200% sure that in his mind he went " no wonder, female driver"...*laughs* well, i admit it was partly my fault..i didnt estimate accurately that he was going at such a high speed but hey, it's not my fault that when i stepped on the accelerator and my car just didnt accelerate fast enough for that speeding guy..anyway, i hope he will be caught by the TP..*laughs* speeding kills life...

well, i have been a driver for almost 4 years...i think i got my license when i was in university year 1...didnt pass it at the first attempt..got it at the 2nd attempt....but am glad enough...was very lucky to be able to drive immediately after i pass...at that time, dad had a white mitsubishi manual lancer...and old one...which was a nightmare because whenever i was behind the wheel, my dad will nag NON-STOP... the most classic example, he nagged all the way from boon lay (jurong camp) to hougang... "why didn you change your gear? cant you hear the engine?" and " why did you change your gear so fast? the car is not ready yet?" and "why do you always delay moving off?" OH MY GOD!! what a nightmare...he was so naggy and complainy that my mum decided that it's time to change for an auto car and lo and behold, we bought an auto toyota corolla...and the mitsubishi was sold..*grins* no more gear-changing lecture but my dad went on to his lane-changing, parking, keeping in lane and whatever lectures...

anyway, i have been a safe driver...still have my 24 points..and the only things that i knock is the kerbs and the dustbins...*laughs* some commented that i drive very fast...some commented that i'm reckless...some commented that i'm safe...some commented that i'm good...some said i'm a fierce driver...*laughs* many friends and family members have been driven by me...and i think most of the time, they dont have to worry about the balloon (read: air-bag) popping out onto their face although, sad to say, most cars that my family own only have 1 balloon...*laughs* so no matter what happen, no balloons will pop out!

anyway, there are just some drivers i simply hate...but then again, at times, i'm like one of them...*laughs* i hate those motorcyclists who hogged the first lane and moved at the speed of a snail...and with only 2 wheels, they would ride right in the MIDDLE of the whole lane..making all the other drivers following behind...*argh* and whenever i'm parking my car and fyi, i'm not really a lousy parker as i can normally park the car without much trouble...anyway, i hate it when the cars around me gave me the "can-you-please-dont-waste-my-time" look when i just arrived at the lot 2 seconds before him...*argh* but at times, i am the one giving that kind of look...*grins* i also hate those drivers to observe the speed limits to the micro details and yet hogged the fast lane...and most of the time, these drivers are ladies, aunties and uncles..*sighz* it's these people that give us ladies driver a bad name...haha! am sure most drivers do not have a good impression of taxi drivers - they stop suddenly, they swerve suddenly from lanes to lanes, they horn you as and when they like, they hog the road by queuing up and when you need a cab desperately, they go into hiding...*laughs*

actually, i think i'm pretty lucky...have driven quite a number of different types of cars...have driven a toyota corolla, a mistubishi lancer, a 320 BMW, a 318 BMW, a c-class benz, a mitsubishi colt and a 2 litre honda accord...but you know what's my dream car?? hahaha! i would love to own a BMW 645 and a BMW Z4...*laughs* actually, am always telling my brother..if i had the money..i would buy a nissan skyline and modify it to become an automatic car..or a WRX will do as well...*laughs* and if i got the chance to drive such cars, i will don on my nerdiest attire and put on the nerdiest pair of glasses and shocked the whole world...especially the ah bengs!! *grins*

i'm sick...

i'm sick....for the 1st time in 2 years...all along..i have been pretty healthy...cannot remember the last time i took a MC...even when i knew that i'm falling sick...i would have been able to prevent it by taking panadol and sleeping many hours...*laughs* but i've failed this time...my body has rejected the sleep and panadol treatment...and so to the doctor i went...

went to consult this doctor near my workplace...Dr Lim..a pretty nice lady...i went in...she took my temperature...touched my throat and told me i have big tonticles...(not sure if i heard wrongly or i spelt wrongly) but anyway, she showed me that i really have some big things at my throat and which is why i tend to get fever and sore throat rather easily...but i told her.."doctor, i seldom get sick ya know" *laughs* then she said.. "this is a good sign..drink more water and gurgles with salt water every day"...anyway, she made me feel like i am some octopus...haha! and i've forgotten to ask her..." after gurgling, do i drink the salt water as well?" hahahaha...such a bimbotic question....

anyway, she gave me 1/2 day MC and gave me only 3 medicine...for the first time in my life..this is the least medicine that i have recieved when i consulted the doctor...there were only 3 types and each type she only gave me like 5 tablets? *laughs* wonder if it's because it's "free" as paid by corporate and so she didnt give that much...anyway, i went home and took some porridge, took the medicine and concussed...slept quite a bit but still woke up feeling groggy this morning and so i called my office and took the day off....report sick...
am feeling much better as i typed...but also my eyes are getting heavier..i think the drowsy effect has taken place...once again, i can watch all the cartoons that i love...on cartoon network, nick and disney channels...*grins*

dreams...

am sure everyone have their dose of dreams...some are sweet dreams, some are nightmares, some are weird and some are meaningful...there are some dreams which i have no memories of and there are some which i can remember very clearly....and normally those that i actually remembered..they are really really really really weird....

Weird Dream #1 : My Lions

i am an avid lover of lions...dont ask me why..i just think they are damn handsome....*laughs* once, i had a dream about my lions..in that dream, i had 2 lions as pets...*laughs* one was a wild lion who roared at everyone and the other was a tamed lion who just walked along with me..i had them on reins and they were basically walking with me in public....in that dream i was actually going for some movie gala..and was with my boyfriend's mother...and funnily, i cannot remember who was my boyfriend in that dream..anyway, because it was so crowded, my lions did help me to get through the crowd as everyone was scared of the wild lion that i had with me...after te movie, i brought my lions to my boyfriend's house...and he had a swimming pool and so i let them into the pool for a bath..i jumped in with them and shampooed their manes...after that i went up to my bofriend's house for a bath while i let my pets swam in the pool...then suddenly i heard a scream coming from the pool and that was my boyfriend's sister who happend to return home and saw 2 lions swimming in her house's swiming pool..i reassured her that my pets were really nice and wont bite but she simply asked me to get them locked up in cages... after that, my boyfriend came out and shooed the sister up to the 2nd level with some magazines and then we sat at the living room with the lions swimming in the pool....and that's the end of my dream....*laughs* very weird dream right? i really did enjoy it because (1) i have my favorite animals as pets and (2) i had a boyfriend..a rich and handsome one too...HAHA!

Weird Dream #2: Hong Kong 4 Heavenly Kings

my dream with the 4 heavenly kings was really interesting...in that dream..i was invited to a pool party...and i was actually the date of...AARON KWOK!! he invited me to this pool party and in that party..i saw all the celebrities of Hong Kong..was mingling around with the handsome kids like Edison Chen and likes...and then Aaron told me that he wanted to intro me to some of his friends..and so we went into the pool...fully-clothed with a glass of champagne...as we walked along the pool...we met even more celebrities and apparently all of them knew who am i...and we chatted like old pals...and somehow, the swimming pool is like a meandering river...and soon we reached a group of guys chatting...and they turned out to be the other 3 heavenly kings - Andy Lau, Jackie Cheung and Leon Lai!!! we chatted a bit...laughed a bit and then my alarm clock rang!! damn it...why couldnt i stay in the dream longer..and i could meet even more cute guys...*laughs*

Weird Dream # 3: Jay Chow

this is my latest dream...thought it was rather sweet..and it involved jay chow...not that i'm a big fan of his...but i have no bloody idea why did i dream about him....basically, in that dream, he was one of the board directors and we were having a meeting...and he was sitting opposite me....during the meeting, he didnt say much and i didnt say much..we merely listened...and when the meeting ended...jay started to chat casually with me...and i asked him to teach me the song "san hu hai" and he agreed!! and then somehow, we were happily chatting..and somehow, i guessed we exchanged mobile numbers...and the scene changed and i was walking along the road..and was actually chatting with him on the phone...i asked him about his pink mercedes, asked him about the gosspis that i've heard on tv and radio, asked him about his songs, chatted about his life and all...and then i said:" i couldnt believe it man...am talking on the phone with you.." and he replied :" there's nothing special about that right?" and i replied.." hello, am talking to the world's famous jay chow - zhou dong sia" and then at this moment..the girls around me started to shout :" you are talking to jay chow!!!!???? " and then i said no and started to run away...and then over the phone, jay was complaining that i shouldnt have made it public that we were chatting on the phone and he said now the reporters will start another gossip about him..and i rebutted that it wasnt my fault that the girls around me had a sensive ear towards "zhou dong" these 2 words...and then we sort of like ended up unhappy with each other and hung up...after a while, i recieved a sms from him...it went something like that...."hey, i think i've over-reacted...so sorry, dont be angry okay? hope to chat on the phone with you soon...:) call me!" i smiled and then my stupid house phone rang and woke me up....

very funnily, i am not a big fan of the Hong Kong 4 heavenly kings and neither am i a big fan of jay chow..but i had such sweet dreams of them...hahahaha..i really wonder why...anyone clever enough to decipher my dreams for me? maybe God is telling that i will live like a queen as lions normally signify grand and majestic...with a boyfriend who is popluar and handsome with many good-looking and important people..and he will be just as talented as jay chow...*laughs*

birthday

to those who have wished me happy birthday... thank you very much...you've been MARVELLOUS
to those who have wished me happy birthday and given me gifts...many many thanks...you've been GREAT...
to those who have forgotten about my birthday but am ignorant...you are FORGIVEN...
to those whom i thought will not wish me but still wished me happy birthday...you are so SWEET...
to those whom i thought will remember my birthday but didnt...you will BURN IN HELL...*laughs* kidding!

anyway, i think as one gets older...everyday is your birthday...somehow, the excitement of celebrating it does not excite me anymore...maybe i know i am getting older *gasps* and my presents are getting lesser *sighz* but i guess that's life...as one gets older, it's harder to get presents because everything that i want starts to get more expensive...and it's not something which friends can afford...read: BMW *laughs*

but it's really nice to hear birthday wishes from people whom i least expect to hear it from...at that moment...you will feel that you are being loved and people does care for you..and that feeling is really really great...especially from the person you least expected..like a new colleague, a very old friend or even a new friend whom you are not very close...very sweeeeeeeeet but of course...wishes that comes from old pals are equally heartwarming and sweet...at the same time, it's kinda sad to not recieve any wishes from people whom you thought would remember...but it's alright...it's just a birthday...maybe these people will remember my deathday...*laughs*

gosh, i hate to be 25....mid-twenties crisiss!!! *grins*

does size really matter?

recently was reading this book by sidney shieldon...and somehow, the main character in the book is a man with a HUGE dick... and he's damn proud of it and many women had enjoyed it and blah blah blah...then i really wonder...DOES SIZE REALLY MATTER???

recently, somehow...in a way or another...have been discussing the most unusual topic with my friends...the size of a dick...*laughs* such a concident!!

it all started because somehow, i managed to watch tammy's video...oops! *laughs* and i thought the guy's dick was rather big...i felt that it was so big that i thought it seemed painful for tammy...anyway, that's just an observation....and so i asked a guy who had seen the video as well..."hey, is that guy's dick big or is it normal?" and he replied:"yeah, kinda big..." *laughs* so that guy's dick is big... and that's the conclusion i had after the conversation with him....

after a few days...met up with a close guy friends...and then i asked him if he had seen the video and he said yup and again i asked :" is that guy's dick unusally big? " and to which he replied.."alright lah, only slightly longer than mine" haha! *fainted* anyway, he then confirmed that it's rather big...and then i asked:"so what's the normal length of a dick?" and this drew a weird conclusion from the guys: a dick is inversely proportional to a guy's built...actually, i felt that a dick is inversely proportional to a guy's brains...*laughs* after a whole load of laughter and exchange of sarcastic remarks among the guys...they did not give me any conclusion...

than later in the night...was not sure how it started...but another guy friend said that he had a 6-inch dick...*laughs* then i went to check a ruler and realize that 6-inch is about 15 cm...and i personally thought it's quite long...*laughs* but have no comment on this and it's self-explanatory why...but my question is....WHAT IS THE USUAL LENGTH OF A MAN'S DICK?

since the guys refused to answer...i asked the girls...*laughs* 2 of my girl pals said they had no idea what is the benchmark...but they also think that 6 inch is rather long...another girl friend commented that she prefers a 4 - 5 inch as a 6 inch would be too big for her and her boyfriend's a 5 inch...haha! so this leads me to the question...DOES SIZE REALLY MATTERS? what's the use of a long and big dick? would it be more troublesome to handle? what if the size of a dick is really inversely proportional to a guy's brains...would a guy prefer a huge dick with puny brains or a puny dick with huge brains?

guys are always comparing the length and diameter of the dick....but do any girls compare the width and breadth of the hole? *laughs* i think men are measured on the length while women are measured on the size of their boobs....i think most guys prefer a C cup...frankly speaking, i personally prefer a B....talking about boobs....last saturday, went windsurfing...was in the changing room...and this woman came out stark naked..was not shocked..but i thought her boobs looked perky...*laughs*

SMRT hates me...

everyday, the mrt is part of my journey to work...every morning, i will reach YCK station at 720am and board the 725am train and will reach raffles place by 745am...and reach office at 758am...this is like my everyday routine...sometimes, i may catch the earlier train...i think i share an okay relationship with SMRT..

BUT.......

i think i need to revisit my relationship with SMRT..for the past 2 days...i was late for work because of SMRT!!!!

on tuesday...i reached YCK at my usual timing..and funnily i realized it was unusally crowded...and the display board read : marina square 2 mins and this message was on the board for like 20 minutes!! then a guy kept saying : please do not board the oncoming train as it's out of service and this guy repeated this line so many zillion times but i didnt see any train approaching at all...so this went on for like 3o minutes before i saw a train crawling and stopping at the station..the train was packed...and guess what, the doors could not open! *laughs* i could see the anxious look on the students inside and outside the train...people are whipping out their mobile and calling whoever in their office to inform that they will be late...and truly yours was one of them...the train couldnt move for like 10 minutes...and there are technicians running around..and people are streaming out of the station...soon, taxis and cars were all jamming up and everyone seemed to be frantically flagging and calling for cabs...as for me...*grins* i called my dearest father!!

on wednesday...i reached YCK at my usual timing...the train came at its usual timing...everything seemed usual...saw some familiar faces...until the train reached TPY...and then the same guy came on air and said : this train is delayed due to faulty trackes, sorry for any inconvenience cause and this guy repeated this line at every single station and the train has to stopped at every single station for like 5 minutes....this happend from TPY to DG and once again...people were whipping out their mobile and truly yours was again one of them...and since iwas on the train..there's nothing i could do...so i continued reading my book...thank God that i had a book with me.... *smilez*

mmm...frankly speaking..i really think SMRT HATES ME!!!

no title

nothing in particular to rant about...

the current topic in singapore now is the sex video of the nyp student being distributed...many opinions have been voiced out...and i share some of the views..shall not repeat everything again..but i think i was quite mean..i was literally asking every friend who's on my MSN list... "DO YOU HAVE THE TAMMY'S VIDEO?" *laughs* very mean right? and did i get it in the end.... SSSSSHHHHHHH

then, the superhost has emerged..it's this lady..not very sure of her name..but i quite like her...although i didnt watch a single episode of the superhost..but i remembered her from the commercials and all..think she has the style and charisma...watched the finals...hate the judges' hot favorite...so irritating that guy... but the questions quite lame...if cloning is legal, how many of yourself would you clone...the man answered none and then the judge said must have one..than he went on to rattle some senseless rubbish..i would have answered this: i would either not clone any of myself or clone many of myself...because it's either i only have an unique me or everyone else is just like me...*laughs* but then again, i'm not in the compeition, easy for me to comment...*smilez*

talking about these "super" series..i think they are a good way to discover talent..but i dont quite like the idea of the super school star...somehow, i think it might give the kids the wrong impressions and all...but then again, times have changed...so my views are already auntified!! *gasps* anyway, i have never caught a single episodes!! *laughs*

have been in training for the past 3 weeks...this week is the last week..started off with my product training..and my trainer flew in from sdyney...he's a nice guy...has a very unique and sincer laughter...i likeee...and then it's the new hire training which i get to learn about different aspects of my department...very interesting...learnt a lot...and we have a mini exam this coming thursday...hope that i can do well..and a presentation on friday...*laughs* reminds me of university days...tutorials and lectures...and then exams and presentation... gosh, memories memories...

ooh..went ladies night to MOS last wednesday..and OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS ME...i saw aunties and uncles dancing cha-cha at the dance floor... *shocked* went with a korean colleague and she's equally shocked and she told me this will not happen in korea because there's an age limit of 35!! clubs banned aunties and uncles!! *laughs* anyway, drinks at MOS are really expensive..and guess who i saw... SYLVESTER SIM!! he looked the same as he is on tv....we had eye contact..but i wasnt mesmerized by him...*grins* ooh...one guy, whom i suspect is a gay told me that the cage at 54 is bouncy...and another guy asked me where's the gents...*laughs* do i look like i work in MOS? tsk tsk tsk...

need to start making intelligent entries... *laughs*

O-A-S-I-S

Today is gonna be the day that they're gonna throw it back to you... By now you should've somehow realized what you gotta do... I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now...And all the roads that lead to you were winding... And all the lights that light the way are blinding... There are many things that I would like to say to you I don't know how... I said maybe... You're gonna be the one who saves me ? And after all... You're my wonderwall...

yeah....i have the ticket to OASIS LIVE IN SINGPORE!!! and i got the premiere tickets...free standing and it cost a freaking amount of S$162!! and the best part is....i got it for FREE!!! *laughs* courtesy of my uncle who got it from his broker....*grins*

basically, am not a big fan of oasis...but i do know some simple facts about them...which i think most people are aware of.....*laughs* (1) Liam Gallagher is the lead singer and well-known for his bad temper, (2) Noel Gallagher is the brother and he's the guitarist and he composes songs for the band, (3) Peter Gallagher is their elder brother who acts in The O.C. as Sandy Cohen and (4) they hailed from Manchester City, i think...and also, i am only aware of some of their songs: wonderwall, morning glory, dont look back in anger, champagne supernova and lyla...and they sang all these songs...hee hee hee...

actually, i think oasis has a serious attitude problem..thoughout the 1 hour plus show...they didnt say a single word...and didnt even say " hi singapore" and even if Liam did say something into the mike...i cant hear and understand....but i did understand a sentence he said :" this is for the ladies, wonderwall" *laughs* but then again...this is the band's trademark..i would think it's weird if they actually shouted " good evening singapore!!!" haha! but anyhow, Liam did applaud the crowd after a few songs....and he did came forward and stood quite near the stage for us to take a picture of him...this is what i took with my mobile:

Liam near the stage...*drools*

Liam's singing position...seemed to be slightly constipated...*laughs*

talented Noel...

quite pathetic....but this is the best i can do....anyway, my uncle did take some really nice pictures of them..but it's in his camera..and that would have to wait because am sure he will not send the pictures to me till like end of the year??? *laughs*
well...apparently, Liam threw a tambourine but i didnt see it or catch it obviously...and Liam invited a lucky malay girl up the stage towards the end...BUT he's kind rude..he just left the girl at the stage...and he just went off the stage..and Noel didnt even bother to look at her...and she was like...trying to enjoy herself..man, it's kinda weird....but i think she's lucky because she hugged and kiseed Liam...whom i thought was rather suave that night....hee hee

actually, 50% of the crowd were caucasians...and they seemed to be pretty high and drunk...30% were malays...and only 20% were chinese...the place where i stood..i'm surrounded by ang-mohs and malays...with like 2 chinese around me...basically, i'm not exactly very excited or high because i really have no idea what are some of the songs..but my brother and i basically, just jumped and screamed with the rest...*laughs* to fit into the surrounding..but it was rather fun...but very tiring...and the caucasians are so bloody tall that i have to wriggle my way to some funny spot so that my vision is not a bunch of blond hair...

well, all in all..i think it's a good concert...i enjoyed myself..and oasis can sing live...hopefully, eminem will come to singapore..i will DEFINITELY attend it!!! by hook or by crook....*grins*

7 things i want to do when i have a boyfriend

am never a koren drama-ian...never once watched any korean dramas...although i did catch like 50% of "Full-House" and fell in love with Rain...how can i not fall in love with him when he's so cute....see:

anyway, as i was saying...i dont really watch korean dramas but i somehow watched 2 episodes of this comedy which am not sure of the name..but goes something like wo(3) ai(4) jin(1) san(1) shun(4)... very hillarious show..all the characters are really cute and interesting..and i must say i love the way the korean guys dressed...they are so lanky and their shirts and pants are always so nice.....and the korean ladies are so pretty too...

well, in the episodes that i watched, the main lady was this plump and unattractive 29 year old girl who had a handsome, charming and rich 27 year old boyfriend...and she was forcing him to do the 7 things she wanted to do when she had a boyfriend..and this is the list if i didnt remember wrongly:
  1. To put the boyfriend's picture as the wallpaper of the cellphone - will not do this..not my style..would rather put the picture of my boyfriend's bmw as the wallpaper!! *laughs*
  2. To smooch in the cinema while watching a horror movie - not sure why but not my style as well as i love to watch horror movie!!
  3. To hold the boyfriend's hands tightly and go shopping
  4. To take a train from dont know where to dont know where and drink beer
  5. To shout " I LOVE YOU XXX" in the public - this is so embarassing...*gish*
  6. To bring the boyfriend home
  7. cannot remember the 7th one...

thought it was rather cute to have a list of to-do when one got attached...and so it inspired me to get my own list of to-dos as well...here goes:

  1. To go grocery shopping - always thought it's very romantic to do this...*laughs*
  2. To go house-riding - as if we were in the medievel times...*laughs*
  3. To cuddle together on the sofa and watched a game of soccer - think it's a nice feeling to be in the arms of a loved one
  4. To go on a overseas holiday trip together, all expenses paid by him - haha!
  5. To watch sunrise or sunset together - quite lame but had never done that before sia
  6. To smooch in the rain- romantic sia..like spiderman and mary jane*grins*
  7. To wear a tie for him - very intimate gesture if you ask me..*giggles*

not easy to come up with that list but i think it's even more diffcult to find a guy to do those things with me...anyhow, think i will not be getting married...think i will be alone all my life...cannot imagine myself sharing my life with another person...

if the guy turned out to be a good husband...caring, responsible, blah blah blah..then it's not a bad idea..but if the guy turned out to be a jerk, a useless piece of junk, blah blah...then how am i supposed to live with him...there's always a 50% chance of finding either type of guys...and i think i am not willing to take that risk...dont know why but i think i have lost faith in marriage and guys...or rather i am afraid..i dont want to end up with someone who cant take care of me...think i will be better off alone taking care of myself...this is kinda sad for me because i dare to say..i have NEVER loved or be loved...

how i spend my valentine's day

yesterday was valentine's day...as usual..it's a dateless one for me..has been like that for the past 25 years...*sighz* quite sad right..but somehow, i dont feel that sad..maybe i am used to the feeling of being dateless!!! *gasps*

actually, strictly speaking..i do have a date..but it's a date with my uncle...hahahaha..he called me in the afternoon and date me out to watch a play....to watch this play:

Confessions of 300 Unmarried Men

basically, this play is quite funny..quite enjoyable...quite interesting...but there were certain parts which i thought are too abstract...maybe i am not that arty-farty enough to appreciate..but i seriously cannot appreciate that sort of abstract protrayal of ideas of unmarried men...thought the language was rather singlish..wonder if the foreigners in the audience understood them...*grins* there's this joke which i remembered from the play:

if your wife is at the front door asking you to let her in and your dog is at the back dog barking you to let him in..who should you let in first? your dog..because after you let him in, he will shut up..the wife will not...*laughs*

actually, i thought there isnt much hype about valentine's day this year....it seemed like no one is really concerned about this day already...maybe like what the taxi driver told me...everyone made reservations and so everything is "hidden" in some ways...not publicly shown...but i think the worst gift to recieve is flowers...i HATE flowers...they are so useless...i cant eat them, i cant keep them, i cannot do anything about them...so impractical...what is the best gift? i have no freaking idea at all!!

ooh...just watched channel U just now...got bored of American Idol...then was watching the show where brian wong and kym ng tried to find partners for the main lead...and lo and behold..i saw my JC CLASSMATE!! hahahaha...so so so so so so shocked...not that he has changed to become very handsome and attractive..but was shocked that kym ng actually approached him..hahahaha..he's quite alright-looking..quite a nice guy..but have always thought he reminds me of some hong kong triad's chief...*laughs* anyway, yuan(2) lai(2) bu(4) shi(4) ni(3)!! *giggles*

the last day of chinese new year

today's the last day of the chinese new year....this chinese new year for me has been rather uneventful..nothing much happen..and i did nothing much as well...*laughs*

for this year's chinese new year...i had 2 lion dances to enjoy...one is at my office..and the other's at home...*grins* 2 lions were invited to my office to prance around for good luck...i was pretty excited although i have no ideas why...anyway, the 2 lions were pretty mischievious and they were flirting with the humans around them...and one of them was actually handled by a girl...kudos to that strong girl!!! and i noticed something interesting....these "lions" wore NIKE shoes!!! *laughs* the other lion was invited by my mum to come prance around in my living room...there's only 1...and this lion is pretty fierce..came in with an attitude...very solemn and fierce..and my mum said this is to drive away the bad spirits in our house...*laughs* this "lion" has real "paws" and didnt endorse any brands...*laughs*

this year's chingay came to the neighborhood and it was pretty neat...there were floats along the neighborhood streets and i managed to catch some of them near my granny's house...nothing much actually...many traffic police...many kids...very noisy...but kinda interesting to see them appearing in neighborhoods...

ooh..my red packets collection for this year seemed to be pretty good...i think i collected about 800 bucks this year...would say this is the most that i have collected thus far!!!! *smilez* well happy chinese year!!!

i am getting older..*gasps*

you know you are old when.....

(1) the standard question is always asked when you go for CNY visiting....DO YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND? *laughs* this is the most-asked question for me for this CNY...and my answer has been pretty standard... DONT HAVE LEH, YOU WANNA INTRO? *grins* frankly speaking, i also dont know why i dont have but most said my expectations are too high...*shrugs* today, granny told me..." it's time for you to find a boyfriend..not asking you to marry him immediately...date for a year or 2 then it's about time to get married " this is bad...real bad....*laughs*

(2) you feel PAISEH to collect red packets when you go for CNY visiting...previously, i have NEVER felt paiseh to take the red packets from my relatives or anything... but this year, i kinda feel paiseh...*laughs* not sure why but somehow felt that i'm too old to take them from friends and relatives...but all of them said " aiyah, not married, still can take...still young lah " hahahahaha..it's worse when my students' parents gave me and my students ask from me and i cannot give them...*laughs*

(3) all the friends around you are either married or happily and steadily attached... this is what is happening to me right now..most of my friends are either married or they are in the getting married mood....while i am still looking around for a potential guy to be the one for me....*laughs* actually quite excited if my friends are getting married..it would be even more exciting if they are close and old friends...really cannot wait to see my close friends getting married...was telling another friend that i think i will cry if i were to attend another common friend's ROM...tears of joy of course....

(4) you are not afraid to lunch or dine alone already....*laughs* not sure if it's the same for others...but when i was much younger, i would NEVER EVER eat alone..no matter how hungry i was..i would rather starve then to buy a meal and eat alone....if i were to eat alone..i MUST have a book or magazine to read and would only dine at fast-food restaurants...now, bochup, as long as i'm hungry..i can just go anywhere to buy a bowl of anything and eat like as if i'm with everybody....*grins*

(5) you begin to act more auntified/unclefied...*laughs* this is certainly true for me..every morning on my way to work...i will be eyeing all those potential passengers whom i think will alight soon so that i could get their seats and sleep...*laughs* and every morning, i would have to do this and fight with the aunties and uncles of the trains...and i must say, i win some and i lose some...*laughs* also, on the way home, i would make sure i'm right in front of the door so that when the train doors open, i can jolly well rush in and get a seat and sleep all the way back home too...*laughs* so kiasur right?

(6) you need lesser and lesser sleep..somehow i felt that i dont need that much sleep anymore..in fact the more i sleep...the more tired i get...and am not sure why is this so....*shrugs* once heard that the older you get...the lesser sleep you need..which is why, older folks are always waking up early not because they are not tired...but simply because they cannot sleep anymore....*sighz*

(7) you think that you are the oldest person in the club when you go mambo night...*laughs* i felt like an auntie when i went mambo on wednesday...everyone around me seems so young and innocent...*laughs* okay, maybe not innocent..but frankly speaking, i really really felt old that night...maybe i was surrounded by really young people and my stamina doesnt seemed to be as good as last year....*laughs* guess it's time to exercise....*laughs*

*sighz* am really getting older...when i was 16..i hope to be 18...when i was 18.. i hope to be 21...when i was 21..i hope to be 18...and now i'm 25..i hope to be 15...*laughs*

short trip to malacca

just got back from malaysia last night...very tired...the moment i reached home..i hit the sack..hahahahaha...lucky i have bathed before setting off from malaysia...but anyhow, felt kinda dirty..but lucky i didnt have to work today..which is why i woke up at around 11 plus...*grins*

this trip back was quite alright..although it's short..but i met up with relatives i didnt meet for years...saw all my aunties and uncles...and all the distant relatives whom i have never met in my whole life...but i guess it's the same for them...it's basically "gong xi fa cai xxxx" then we sat down...drank a cup of soft drinks..ate some snacks..recieved a red packet and then it's bye-bye...basically, we did this from 3pm to 7pm...it's so tiring...then we had dinner at my granny's house..and then chit-chatted with everyone...hee hee hee...

then i broke my rehab..hahahahaha...my cousins brought me to their most happening club in melaka..hahahaha..it's called "PURE" ...reached that place around 11 plus...and it's damn crowded...so crowded that every inch of the club there's a pair of feet...everyone's dancing and drinking...the club played mostly hip hop and everyone seemed to be drinking carlsberg...my cousin had a group of friends with her...only 1 is not bad-looking..am asking her to go for it..*laughs* another cousin was with his girlfriend and gang...young punks...not interested...*grins*

i must say..the people there have extreme dress sense...there were girls who wore t-shirts, bermudas and sports shoes and there were girls who wore funny looking tops, with creative skirts and boots...*laughs* for the guys..most of them in shirts and pants..which is rather normal..but there were some with weird looking pants and dance moves...*laughs*

ooh...the most exciting thing that happened was...i saw..... LIM MING SHUN aka CHRISTOPHER LEE..hahahaha...he was in the same club as i was..with his gang of friends and brother...quite good-looking...not very tall but looked rather big-sized..he basically smiled at everyone who recognized him...including me...hahahahaha...didnt ask for picture or autograph as i think rather dorky..hahahaha...then my cousin's handsome friend told me that he used to hang out with them...*laughs* no comments on this....

went shopping at the only shopping mall of malacca..bought 2 pairs of shoes..hee hee hee..and then it's time to head back to singapore....not much clothes to buy...there were many shoe shops...really wonder why..but the shoes i bought..very cheap...only 38 ringgits..and so it's only about SGD20....cheap cheap..happy happy happy....

since i have broken my "vow"...am going mambo tonight...*laughs*

happy chinese new year!!

GONG XI FA CAI!!! XIN NIAN KUAI LE!!!

the year of the dog has just begun...frankly speaking, i think it came too soon...because christmas seemed to be just over and hari raya..and now it's the chinese new year..then it's the dry spell...think it will be good to have the chiense new year around mid-feb....but then again...i have no control.....

well...now is the 2nd day of the chinese new year..thus far, everything has been the same to me....having reunion dinner...going to granny house to collect ALL the red packets....going to uncle's house to play mahjong..nothing much actually....maybe next year, it would be different..i might have to go to my boyfriend's house to collect red packets....*laughs* think i'm thinking too much...

but somehow, been feeling very sleepy...on new year's eve, after the dinner, we went to mount faber...am not sure why..but it was quite okay...then the moment i reached home..i bathed and i slept...that's about 1 am and woke up at 12pm the next day...*laughs* then was at uncle's house...dont feel like doing anything but sleep...but when i reached home and bathed...dont feel like sleeping already...*laughs*

going malaysia in a few hour's time..to visit my relatives...actually dont really feel like going...because have to be back on tuesday...quite tiring...but then again, i'm not the driver..hahahaha...anyway, decided to go because my the other granny is rather sick...the doctor had said that almost all her internal organs are spoilt and she may go anytime...so well....enough said.... *sob sob*

oooh..manged to take time off on wednesday...*yeah* more sleeping for me....*yawnz*

neat stuffs

the weekend really flies...i really dont understand why...*sighz* anyway, i think i had quite a good week and weekend...did some pretty neat stuffs....:)

on friday, our company had a recruitment seminar..and this was my first time as part of the recruitment team..it was pretty amazing..seeing how people tried to "impress" you in one way or another because you have a say in whether they will be offered an interview...and it's pretty amazing to see different people of all kinds...and most of them thought i was the HR personnel because i was the one who did all the emailing and all...*faint* but quite sadly, there arent many cute guys..in fact, there arent any....*sighz* after the event, we had our "celebration" at kazbar...pretty interesting..i see how the "normal" colleagues become crazy colleagues...everyone was just ordering beer and food...and almost everyone was smoking a fag...then they ordered this turkish thingy called "sisha" (could be wrong spelling but am lazy to check out the real one) which i had a try on....and i dont taste anything..hahahaha...everyone got pretty high and noisy and we were practically dancing around and swearing at each other...had 1 pint of hoegarder, 4 tequila shots, 2 bailey's shots...and the taxi ride home made me sick...*laughs* but i must say, i truly enjoyed myself...think i've joined the right company...everyone's neat!!!!

on saturday, finally got a chance to check out this cafe which mr chong has been talking about..pretty cosy and nice....there were 6 of us..and we were there for around 2 hours..playing all sorts of board games...hurling abuse at each other...laughing at each other's silly actions...getting high and cranky without the help of alcohol....all in the name of good fun.... some games were pretty interesting..some were not our cup of tea....but i think everyone was enjoying themselves....at least i was...love the dissing of each other part...hahaha..all in the name of fun of course..i dont really mean it when i shouted "bugger" or "bitch" ....although maybe the choice of words were dependent on some truth...*grins*

my dad was back from china...went to pick him up from the airport...pretty much miss him..havent seen him since november 2005...just in time for chinese new year...a true reunion dinner.... :)

bought the pink razor phone for 68 bucks...hahahaha...mum recieved a 100 dollars voucher from starhub...pretty phone to match a pretty girl like me! *laughs*

class picture

on Friday the 13th, we had our annual gathering...*laughs* yes, my secondary 4 class will have an annual gathering...but not everyone will turn up...only certain people will come..but it's good enough...just a short catch up with one another is quite a good experience...

anyway, we met up for a dinner at his nana thai restaurant at far east...which we were given a "private room" which looked and functioned more like a storeroom...and the food was quite nice...and this picture was taken after our meal...2 of them commented that we looked like we were at some JB food center...*laughs* after dinner, we proceeded to chill out at indochine...

kudos must be given to the organizer...he's the guy standing on the extreme right...he's always ever so diligent to call up every single one of us to organize this gathering...without him, i think we wouldnt have met up at all...thanks a million...

basically, i think everyone kinda looked the same...but somehow some of them has become more handsome...*grins* talking about handsome, i think the guy sitting on the extreme right is so damn bloody cute...as i quote the girl sitting next to him : he's got a boyish charms...hahahaha...although another friend commented that he look beng..but well, in my eyes, he's kinda cute and all...tall, dark and handsome...with brains and a good character..where to find such gems? and lo and behold...HE'S NOT ATTACHED!!! *laughs* think it's time for me to strike....*grins*

one of the gains of this outing is that i got to meet the girl sitting beside handsome...she used to sit in front of me and we always talked about all sorts of rubbish and i like talking to her because she will share with you anything under the sun...after O levels, somehow, we simply lost touch and have not seen her around at all..but miraculously she turned up at this gathering and i was really really glad that i got her number...she's one adventurous lady..she dives, she wakeboards, she dances, she's learning how to ride a bike, she clubs, she smokes, etc..hahaha...but she's always with my handsome...they were like lovebirds the whole night...*jealous*

mmm..if one were to look at the 4th girl sitting down from the right...and the 5th guy next to her...frankly spekaing..i thought they look damn compatible!! *laughs* and i think they are rather close...hee hee hee...maybe they are already together? *laughs* but i think it would be good if they actually got together....because i think they have the same interests and can really clinque rather well..and somehow, i thought they got the husband-wife look....*laughs*

most of the guys are still schooling..in their final year of NUS engineering..and i think they are all damn bloody smart..all aiming for 1st class honors...so i guess they will become eligible bachelors in years to come..talking about that...i think handsome was once a CLEO eligible bachelor finalist..*winks*

anyway, i realized some things...ever since secondary school, the guys simply love to irriate me...no matter what i say or do..they simply have some rubbish to rebutt...for example, i said the wrong name to one of my classmates on that night..and for like the next 30 minutes..the rest of the guys kept harping on it..and after which, no matter what i say...they will have something to rebutt and irritate me.....when i go JC...the same things happen to my JC classmates and seniors...and when i started working..the same happens to me with my male collegues...frankly speaking..i dont think i have a "rebuttal" and "irritable" face..but somehow, it just happens....*sighz* but to put it in a nicer way...the guys are concentrating their attention on me! *grins*

ooh, this other guy who was not in the picture brought his girlfriend along..hahahaha..wonder why also..but the girlfriend looked young but behaved like an ah lian..hahahaha...but it's alright..my friend also quite beng...but a beng on clutches..hahahaha...this guy ah.never take good care of his leg...tsk tsk..but anyhow, glad that he got a girl to take care of him....he used to sit beside me in class and i think we were kinda close...a nice guy to talk to....many thought we were together...or rather..i'm interested in him...*laughs* so childish..hahahahaha...but they were good memories....

our next gathering should be in May..and i suggested going MOS..hahahaha...or sentosa...some said KTV...but i am more keen on MOS and Sentosa...wonder if the proposed May outing will actually happen...*smilez*

*blank*

i think i have found my new year resolution...I WANT TO LEARN DIVING... hahahaha...was talking to my neighbor at work..and apparently he's quite active..he dive and rock-climbs...very adventurous..and was talking to him about diving..and he just told me about this cheap course..which cost only SGD222 for a basic course which includes everything...HOW CAN I GIVE IT A MISS?? *grins* but i think my mum will flip if i tell her i want to learn diving..hahahaha...she already flipped when i said i went windsurfing and wakeboarding...but then again, i think she will get use to it...*laughs*

met a friend for lunch today...was really glad that she's enjoying herself very much in her new company with her new colleagues...kinda envious because her company actaully employed 18 of them for this round and they were like a class..always hanging out together and all....going gym, eating, drinking, clubbing etc... anyway, happy for her that's she's happy....and she asked me to go clubbing with her...and i told her this:" but i'm currently in my clubbing rehab and so cannot club till march 2006..also i want to go church...then after church i go teach piano and then go visit granny and then go home " and her reaction was :" hannah, you okay? something is wrong with you!!!! " *laughs* what's wrong with going church and visiting granny? what's wrong with not going clubbing? i guess i always give people the impression that i am a party animal when in fact...I AM NOT!!! now then they know...*winks*

was just wondering....why do some people get all the love and attention they want or they dont want but for me..it seemed kinda hard for me to simply fall in love...i can oogle at guys...i can admire them from afar..i can whatever whatever...but i can NEVER fall in love...frankly speaking...i HAVE NEVER FALLEN IN LOVE...is this a bad thing? am i abnormal? some of my friends simply get attached and detached with a snap of their fingers...some will get girls/guys falling head over heels with them when they didnt even have to lift a finger...some are simply so in love with their partners that makes me wanna get married....*laughs* but for me, i'm still me...still the same old me...nothing, nobody and nowhere...most said my expectations are too hight..some said my social circle is too small..some said the one has not arrived....but are these the real reasons? not that i'm getting desperate..but maybe i am..but i do want to love and be loved...never mind..just some random and senseless thoughts...

suddenly, i remembered something..hahaha...went shopping on tuesday with 3 other people, M, A and A...actually, it was A and A who sort of like arranged to meet while me and M sort of like arranged to meet..and then A asked me along and i asked M along..since we all know each other...anyway, both M and i though that the girl A seems kinda intereste in guy A...during the whole shopping trip, M and i were always together..even when we try to separate ourselves to mingle around..somehow, A and A will alawys end up together...the most classic case: was talking to guy A about previous week's church service..and he only managed to talk 1/4 of it when girl A simply cuts in and change the whole topic....*laughs* and when M and I purposely walked slower to "separate" them...somehow, they will even slow down even more to the extent that M and I got irritaed...*laughs* asked guy A if he's interested..he said : i dont know...ask girl A if she's interested...she said : too holy, different mindsets....*laughs* what is going on here? are they or are they not interested in each other? tsk tsk tsk..make up your minds people....so wishy-washy...totally detest wishy-washiness...

reading back this entry..kinda duhz....but then again, who cares....they are my thoughts..i am rather duhz...unable to write profound and inspiring stuffs and hence i write rubbish...hahahaha..go ahead and call me a bimbo...*smilez*

updates to my life...

it's been quite some time since i last entered an entry...actually not really that long...but it's almost a week...come to think of it..i used to update quite often....at least once every 2 days....it's either i'm plain lazy, too tired to face the computer after facing 2 monitors for 10 hours or my brothers are happily and busily mapling...*sighz*

just attended an ex-colleague's wedding at hilton on sunday... was kinda excited because was able to see some friends... and indeed i saw my beloved melvin..hahahaha...the ever so funny and cute melvin...if he's not stably and happily attached, i would have fallen head over heels with him...*grins* and also, there's the ever s0 hilarious and nice ronald who drives a S13 and has promised to get me a rolex but has yet to do so....*laughs* anyway, had a good catch-up session with them...a few other friends were there...exchanged some small talks...basically, the wedding was rather simply, nothing fanciful...food was quite good...bride was pretty...everything else the same...however, seeing people getting married makes me wanna get married too...haha!

had a very simple weekend as well..because it was forever raining...had to stay at home...because the weather was such a good one to sleep in and the day was simply too wet to go anywhere..nothing much was achieved over the weekend but no regrets...sleeping is also a good way to pass time...*laughs*

went shopping on friday for new year's clothes...actually it's just an excuse for me to spend without feeling guilty...hahahahaha...anyway, only bought a pyjamas from woman's secret...very pretty...but only my family and i have the priviledge to admire it..haha! maybe it's time to organize a slumber party...mmm....but then again, too troublesome..and i dont see any point, i would just sleep anyway...hahahahaha...wanted to buy the pair of levi's jeans which i have been eyeing...tried it on again..and thought it looked fabulous on me because it actually make me look slimmer...*laughs* but the lofty price was holding me back...170 bucks...had several pairs of levi's but they either come free (as presents) or they only cost 50 bucks (bought from other countries)...and so was rather unwilling to spend the 170 bucks...went home and told my mum and mum said :" it's not expensive at all, that's the normal price for a pair of levi's" oh my god!!!! my mum doesnt even own a pair of levi's and she knows the market....mmm...never underestimate AUNTIES!! hahahaha..anyway, have decided...shall get that pair..on my shopping list includes denim skirt, shorts, nice tops, nice bottoms and jackets...acutally it means EVERYTHING...hahahahaha...gosh, now i'm in the shopping mode...

was telling everyone that i'm going into a clubbing retreat...no clubbing for me till March 2006...and everyone gave the same reactions: YA RIGHT! and the same question: WHY? acutually, frankly speaking..i also am not sure why am i telling myself no more partying...maybe i am simply tired..maybe i am simply broke..maybe i am simply bored...BUT i am going to prove to everyone that i can keep to my "vow"....but then ah, Paul Van Dyke coming in Feb 2006 sia...chamz..hahahahaha!! and why do MOS keep sending me invites to their events when i declare that i will not club till march? *argh*

ooh, realized that there's a wakeboarder in my office...frankly speaking, he's not the tall, dark and handsome type...in fact, he's rather short and looked kinda old to me...but am not sure why, everytime i see him, i would start to imagine him in his board shorts and riding behind the speedboat....and am not having dirty thoughts..just could imagine him riding suavely behind the cool boat and doing all sorts of stunts...*sighz* i think if a guy can wakeboard, he is more or less suave when he's riding...but come to thik of it, most of the wakeboarders i know of are rather short...mmm...maybe wakeboarding makes one short? hahahaha..no idea...but anyhow, he's like a cheap thrill to me in office....*laughs*

uninteresting life i have now...period.

first birthday celebration of the year

had my first birthday celebration of the year on the 1st day of 2006...well not mine birthday of course..am not a january baby...but it was the birthday of an old friend...come to think of it...we have been friends since primary school...but we only sort of like hang out together in secondary school and that will be calculated as 12 years!! oh my god...am getting older by the minute....*gasps*

anyway, it is our "tradition" that the birthday girl has to give the rest of the friends a treat and the res tof us will buy a presents for her...it's been 12 years...we are getting older and so ideas for presents are running low...and thus, in the end, we each fork out a sum of money and gave the birthday girl a red packet.. so that she can get whatever she wants...hahahaha...frankly speaking, if someone gave me a red packet, i would most probably spent it on food and hence i would prefer a gift but then again...it's kinda difficult to tell others what i want when what i want is not cheap...*sighz* life is full of choices i must say....

anyway, we went for dinner at this buffet restaurant - pariss xxx xxx xxxx - not very sure of the name...but it was at marina square....it's rather expensive but i must agree that the food is very very fresh..the oyster was so huge that it looked kinda scarry to eat it but it was indeed very fresh...had endless flow of salmon and tuna sashimis...had chocolate fondue...had fruits...had ice-cream...had dim sum...had cakes...so many types of food...i ate till i could swear that i can turn into a ball and explode with the prick of a needle...*laughs*

anyway, because my dear friend is an avid fan of karaoke...we proceeded to k-box after dinner at cineleisure...for me, am not really a fan..because (1) cant sing, and (2) the songs i listen to are not sing-able...can someone tell me...how do one sing "to kill a mocking bird" or "hung-up" or "boulevard of broken dreams"? hahahahaha...but not wanting to be a spoilsport...i joined them at the ktv...and because my friend had 2 groups of friends..she had 2 rooms - a smoking room and a non-smoking room...*laughs* and there's only 3 of us in the non-smoking room...

well because i cannot really sing..and there's not much songs for me to sing...plus one of my friends is an avid fan of jay chow...i literally went to a jay chow's concert...every single song that was played was a jay chow's song...and i could only enjoy the MTV and admire his talent..hahahaha..but i must say...i love 2 of his songs - "yi fu zi ming" and "pa wo hui lai le"....although i cannot sing..but i thought these 2 songs were great...and he look damn handsome in the mtv....and because we were kinda bored, we decided to dedicate hokkien songs and were trying very hard to sing with the correct pronounciation...*laughs* it was damn hilarious...then we tried our hands at very very old soppy love songs by old singers such as teresa teng etc...oh, and one of them could sing JJ's songs so well..that i was mesmerized by her...if only she's a man...*laughs*

we hung around at k-box till like 2 plus when my eyelids are so damn heavy that i could fall asleep while standing....bade farewell to the smoking room friends...and took a cab home...darn, i didnt drive because i thought there would be alcohol...*laughs* but sadly, all the alchohol was in the smoking room and i dont know the smoking room friends that well...got the urge to drink sia..but must abstain...cannot afford to have belly because of drinking....*laughs* but then again a belly is already bulging...hahahaha..whatever!

generally it's a good outing..except for one bad thing...one of my friends was in a rather jumpy mood...she's someone i'm not very close to in the group...in fact i dont really talk to her and all...and that day i tried talking to her..she seemed so jumpy and agitated...learnt that she's under a lot of stressed from work...well..not that i care that she's stressful..but must she be so jumpy when i took the initiative to talk to her? hahahaha..no hard feelings and not feeling offended...just making some remarks...anyway, let's hope she can get out of the stress soon enough...although not that i give a care....*grins*

i ended 2005 with a blast and 2006 will be a year of manifestation!

happy new year everyone!! 2006 will be a good year....it will be the best year thus far in my 24 years on earth...it's a year of manifestations!!!! *smilez*

well, i ended my 2005 with a blast because.....because....because.....I FINALLY STEPPED INTO MINISTRY OF SOUND!!! was very worried that i couldnt get in on new year's eve because it's a new club with hype and all....was so afriad that i was getting paranoid...hahahahaha...and was so desperate that i prayed to my dear God to let me into the club....and lo and behold, my God is a good God...he answered my prayer! a friend informed me about the pre-sale tickets and i called my friend who happened to be there and she got the tickets for us!! when i arrived at clarke quay at 8pm....the queue was so freaking long that i was sure if i didnt have the pre-sale tickets..i would NEVER queue for it...it stretched all the way to the river...but because GOD IS GOOD i got the pre-sale tickets and the queue was rather short and i only had to queued 30 minutes or so and i was IN THE DAMN CLUB!!! and i must say this: MOS ROCKS!!! hahahaha

2006 will be a good year because i said it to be so..hahahaha...as per my pastor...God has said that this year, ALL THE GOOD THINGS WILL HAPPEN AND IT WILL HAPPEN FAST...*laughs* this is freaking good sia....cannot imagine all the good things that will happen to me in 2006...this is simply amazing...and on the first day of new year...the first activity i did was to GO CHURCH...yeah....because i woke up at 2pm...and my service is 4pm...and during the service....i think God spoke to me....hahahahaha....i heard this: DONT WORRY, YOU WILL BE BLESSED... i heard this distinctly a few times...maybe i was wrong but anyhow, i know 2006 will be a year of manifestation!! i cannot explain the joy and happiness i'm feeling inside but all i know is it's going to be a damn good year!! *smilez*

debrief of my new year resolutions

the year is almost ending....and i realized i did set a list of new year resolutions at the beginning of this year...here's my list of resolution:

1. To go on a diet and lose 5kg: aiyoh, this is my EVERY YEAR'S resolution and every year i never keep them...sighz..this is bad sia...next year must ensure that i lose at least 3 kg...hahahaha...since my uncle bought me the uzap from osim..i shall use it diligently and see if i can lose any weight....*laughs* i must eat lesser and exercise more...i try ah....must really really try....

2. To have more financial control: i actually develop a spreadsheet which tracks my monthly expenses..then i lost that spreadsheet when i change company...*mutter mutter* now i have to start all over again...but never mind, shall start a new one for 2006... but i must say, i am quite a spendthrift....my next year's resolution is to spend less and save more....*laughs*

3. To get a boyfriend: hahahahaha...this is something not within my control sia....not that i was actively seeking...but then i was keeping my doors open in my own opinion...but somehow, i have no suitors at all sia...so damn sad...the guys that i actually met were kinda duhz...and the guys i like are all taken!!! *sighz* but no fears, i'm sure God will truly provide..think i must pray harder...hahahaha...but most people are surprised that i dont have a boyfriend...hahahahahahaha...but it's true..I DONT HAVE A BOYFRIEND!!!

I like Narnia...

another very hyped-up movie of the year...when i watched the trailers in theatres, i've fallen in love with it....because there's a lion...the lion is one of my favorite animal...i simply love lions...i thought they look really majestic with their manes and all....so i told princess mel that i MUST watch this show and made her promise to watch it with me...hahaha! anyway, manage to catch this on christmas day....

i must say, i kinda enjoy this movie...although there were some moments of boredom....the graphics were fantastic...there were so many talking animals...talking horses, talking beavers, talking wolves....so interesting...and there were all kinds of mystical creatures...giants, unicorns, centuars, etc...and so much snow and mountains...very niceeee...

basically, there were 4 characters...and i love the eldest brother - peter...he's so cute when he's seriously at war...he's responsible and brave...the elder sister - susan...not really cute, can be quite irritating at times but alright lah....the younger brother - edmund..hated him, forever so selfish and so stupid, a traitor...irritating brat....the youngest sister - lucy..a very cute girl...nothing much to say about the 4 humans of the show...am not really into them...

for me....i looooooooooove aslan - the lion...he's so handsome...so nice....so wise....and he's used to signify Jesus... aslan sacrificed himself for one of the traitors...just like how Jesus sacrificed himself for us....and when they actually killed aslan, he was whipped and they shaved off his mane..just like how Jesus was whipped and stripped naked...at those scenes, i couldnt help but sob because it really reminds me of Jesus and i felt so sad....

however, i am still unsure of a scene in the movie...i seriously am still puzzled how did the queen die? did aslan kill her? or did aslan spare her? why did aslan ask peter if the war is over? mmm...very vague that portion... and also, once the 4 kids are out of narnia, who's going to rule narnia? another 4 kids? so what? the whole story will repeat again with another 4 kids? mmm.....but no fear, i've gotten the books and am going to read them!! *yeah*

wonder if the other books will be produced into films....ooh...am looking forward to 2 movies in 2006....The Da Vinci Code and Mission Impossible 3....Toms are the main leads for these 2 shows...but am only interested in the latter tom...as for the former tom...dont know why he's casted as the main lead....

Merry Christmas

*singing* Oh holy night...the stars are shining brightly...it is the night of our dear savior's birth...now long lay the world in sin and error pining...till he appeared and the soul feel its worth...*sighz* this is my favorite christmas carol.....so nice....=)

anyway, MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!!! hope that all of you have a blessed christmas.....

well...as usual, i spend my christmas eve with my family...every year, my family will just gather for a dinner and exchange presents...last year, we had our party in sentosa and we actually danced till 1am and exchanged our presents in our hotel rooms..so it's the dancing christmas...this year, we had our dinner at jumbo and because we booked one of the private room, we had KTV and so this year was the KTV christmas....*smilez*

everyone took turns to sing!! it was my FIRST TIME hearing my mum sing...and my uncle...hahahaha...although they cannot sing like super stars..but i wouldnt say they suck....well, KTV happens to be one of my auntie's favorite hobby and so she was happily singing away...all her old melodies...the food was great...we had prawns, fish, 2 plates of crabs, fried rice, dessert, shark's fins and a cold dish....was so full and satisfied....*smilez* after dinner, we exchanged presents....and it was done in a haphazard way because we sang too much and the restaurant was closing....*laughs* and after the gift exchange, my family "refused" to go home...*laughs* we proceeded to coffee bean and sat around and chit-chatted and drank coffee..although all of us were very full...anyway, finally we all got home around 1am...

last year, i bought presents for all my uncles and aunties....7 presents because i have 3 aunties and 4 uncles...this year, i change my "strategy"...i only bought presents for my cousins.....3 presents because i only have 3 cousins..and they were kids and i just had to ponder over what toys to buy....unlike buying gifts for adults, i have to ponder WHAT and WHERE TO BUY...a big headache...and after this change of strategy, not only did i save $$$ but also lost lesser hair....*laughs* man, i'm such a cheapo...mmm...feeling guilty...because i got presents from all my uncles and aunties...think i shall buy for all next year....*laughs*

ooh, these are the presents i got from everyone:
  1. red packets = $300 (good!)
  2. 2 perfumes: burberry and clinque (yeah!)
  3. a set of books: The Chronicles of Narnia (cool!)
  4. a handphone holder (amazing, have the intention of getting one)
  5. a wallet (nice!)
  6. u-zap (fantastic, can use that to zap way the fats around my huge tummy!)
  7. 3 candles: 2 perfumed ones and 1 with a holder that contains my name
  8. wired piano decorative piece

i loooooooooooove all my presents and THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! actually i thought i might get a digicam for christmas...but dont have...but my uncle PROMISED to get me one for chinese new year....*laughs*

new job rocks!

this week was my first week at my new job..in fact..today was my 2nd day....and i must say..it has been a very very very very very great experience....although i must say the working hours are very long...8am to 6pm...can die ah...but i know i will survive...*grins* everything has been awesome...

(1) People
the people here are simply great..everyone's so friendly...although it may seemed that they are over-friendly..but i reckon they are really friendly..everyone's so willing to help me...in every other way...even to the point of telling me there are grapes in the pantry and even telling me where the bowls are located....awwww...i am so touched....everyone's so nice....actually it's everyone on my team...the other side...they looked kinda arrogant..but i dont really care..hahahaha...

(2) Pantry
my new office has the BEST pantry of the whole universe...it's amazing the things they maintain in that pantry...you name it...the pantry has it...apple juice, orange juice, chocolate milk, pure milk, carrot juice, vegetable juice, soya bean drink, mineral water, coffee, tea, green tea, diet coke, etc etc...slurrrrp...and there's potato chips, biscuits, cereals, cup noodles, sweets, marshmallows, apples, bananas, grapes, etc etc....slurrrrp...i think when i'm trying to save on my pennies...the pantry will be of a great help...*laughs* the pantry was so famous that after i reached home on my first day..my brother asked me this question.."how's the pantry?" duhz...what a question!!!! talking about the pantry, had chocolate milk this morning..and had tummy ache which caused me to poo a few times...hahaha...good way to shed the pounds? *grins*

(3) Work
basically, i havent really started any work...for these 2 days...i spent my time reading things...getting myself familiarize with the system...because it's a totally different system...shadowing my team mates...nothing much here and there..there were moments of boredom...and i almost dozed off at my desk..hahaha..but i had to look busy..because everyone was really busy...*grins* had a conference call with the team today...and my manager said that he doesnt want me to plunge too fast into the job....he wants to ensure that i get myself settled down and familiarize myself...which he said will take at least 1 month...*laughs* not a bad idea..and this manager is going to personally train me in whatever i'm going to do...cool...

thus far, everything has been good..except that i got to wake up at 6am every morning....*yawnz* my mum asked me..." do you have the feeling that your previous job is better? " and with much confidence i answered her..." NO WAY! " *grins*

all i want for christmas is MOS...

MOS - my latest indulgence...not exactly indulgence..but my latest interest..not really also..cannot put words to it...but this is something i fairly desire...but alas, was pissed by it last friday...so damn bloody pissed that nothing could make me unpissed...

it was my first time queuing willingly to enter a place....for 3 freaking hours..i stood with the crowd...beads of pespiration were rolling non-stop from my whatever...it was so damn bloody hot and stuffy..but for the sake of MOS....i willingly queued with my pals...the queue seemed to be moving...but it was a false impression...many with priority tickets were also queuing and when they were called to enter..the queue shortened..and they only let a few from my queue in..if any at all....in the end, they told us they are stopping the queue..and gave me a discount card...so damn pissed...i queued from 915 to 1215..and all i got was the discount card...and to make matters worse...had a friend inside who fed me with smses such as.."this is an awesome place"..."this is freaking huge"...."the drinks are cheap and strong"..."mos rocks"..etc...*mutter mutter*

anyhow, saw a few "celebrities"...if you want to call them that....saw glenn ong...he was tall and not bad-looking..didnt now he was lanky....saw bernard tan or was it bernard lee or bernand xxx..anyway, he's the radio dont know what....he was with glenda chong...nothing much to comment...saw tanya chua..not too bad...that's about it..hahahaha...very few in fact...but i must say, there were many nice cars...saw quite a number of bmws, a few ferraris, a few lamborghinis, mercedes cls, etc...

after the "sorry, better luck next time" by the people of mos....me and pals head over to club momo...i wanted to go home...as my mood was so totally spoilt..but becaues another friend just arrived..we decided to try our luck at momo...no queue...everything was normal..rather crowded inside...but alas, i was really in no mood to party anymore....all the disappointment and pissnes..just kills all my dancing and drinking cells...*mutter mutter* went off after a while...sighz...

actually recieved an sms from mos saying that it's ladies retro night on wednesday...but i think i shall give it a miss...what if i went and i couldnt get in again...cannot afford to stay up so late...need to wake up damn bloody early to work the next day....think i better go mos when the hype dies down...but then again....I CANNOT WAIT!!! *laughs*

now am making an appeal....whoever has access to mos...please message me...please email me...and try to contact me in whatever methods you can....i will pledge allegience to you...and your wish is my command...*laughs* think a friend of mine might have the chance to gain membership....think i better start sucking up to him...*laughs* oh my god...where's all my integrity and all....*sighz*

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS MOS!!!!!!!
