stop the drama!!!

cannot believe that my friend is oh-so-dramatic!!! i mean we are almost 30 years old but she's acting like she's in high school. not that im complaining or anything, but she is sooooo drama!!

on saturday evening, i recieved a call from her. she asked me where i was and what i was doing. told her im at home because it's raining. then she started to sob and asked if i could drop by her house. i was very concerned and i wondered what could have happend. did she get fire? did she get rape? did she get cheated? so i bathed and took a bus to her house. upon reaching her house, she's on the line. she's talking to another friend and semi-sobbing. in my mind, i was like " this must be serious " so i waited for her to hang up. however, calls came one after another and i got a little bored. i mean seriously, i dont think she told me to go over to her house just to see her talk on the phone right? anyway from her little conversations here and there, i kinda know what's the issues.

RELATIONSHIP GONE WRONG.

seriously, in my mind, i was like "CHEY. BIG DEAL??!!" haha. anyway it turned out that this colleauge of hers (A), whom she hung out with very very often, told her last monday that he liked her. and then she realized that she liked him too. and it seems that A had a very possesive and jealous GF who made a big fuss over this when A told her that he was going to leave her for my friend. and then this GF went to speak to another colleague cum friend of my friend and this other girl started to hurl abuses at my friend, calling her a slut and saying that she had betrayed the trust. now seriously, tell me, how complicated was this issue? NOT AT ALL. but my friend dramatized it by saying that her reputation is gone, she's afraid that the GF would appear in the company and kick up a fuss, she's afraid that people would gossip about her and called her the slut, and she's very upset that the supposedly friend was angry with her without knowing anything, etc etc etc.

OH MY GOD. how high school is that? seriously, this is a very simple situation. handle it with professionalism and maturity. If someone kicked up a fuss, just be matured. If people started gossiping behind your back, maintain your professionalism and maturity but not responding to those nonsense. if she really liked A, then get A to speak to the GF, be firm, closed taht chapter and then move on. WHAT'S SO DIFFICULT? okay maybe it's easier said than done, but seriously, it's not THAT drama. so i told my friend " eh, it's very simple. why are you dramatizing it? " haha she said most lawyers are so drama. mmm, are they trying to be like "Alley Mcbeal" or "Boston Legal"? whatever.

well, i have no idea what's the ending of this drama as i wasnt very interested. most probably, the GF will threaten to commit suicide but A would be firm and be with my friend. Then the GF will move on and A would be with my friend and the other girl, was not in the picture at all. Period.

*yawnz* why dramatize such a simple issue? waste of time and effort. seriously. i would rather spend it watching Prison Break. that's real drama. 2 more episodes and im done with season 4. kinda boring. hope there's no more season 5. cant take that drama anymore.
