i kinda like "Angels & Demons". watched it yesterday. not as bad as "Da Vinci Code" but of course, the books are still better. they explained the whole plot and it made more sense. but anyhow, for someone who didnt read the book, it's pretty exciting. and Ewan McGregor is amazing. but funnily, i couldnt name it throughout the whole show. HAHA i was like " duhz, i know this guy. what's his name? " so i had to stay to read the credits and i went " ahhhhhh, ewannnnnn " but it's a good movie. next one that i so need to watch - "Duplicity".
didnt know i have an extremely dumb colleague. was having lunch with 2 of them on sunday after church. one of them (K) was talking about asking for approval to work out of the London office. so the other colleague (Y) asked her why does she need to that. so K explained that she wanted to visit her friends in London (she used to study in London) and she wanted to stay longer by taking a week off and working in the London office for another week. so Y told her to just take 2 weeks off as the management will never approve. besides, we're of different time zone and there's no reason for K to work in London. K argued saying that she is working on some special projects with London colleagues and she's not asking the company to pay anything but just allowing her to work in London. and then Y argued back saying that her manager is constantly on the phone with the London folks but we dont see him visiting London office at all. and K had the cheek to say that our company is so unreasonable to not allow an employee to work in a foreign office at their own expense. OMFG! is she stupid or what? so i told her to wake up her ideas and stop being so idealistic. yes, we protrayed ourselves as flat and flexibile but in reality, it's not always the case. and she still aruged that this is not reasonable and she didnt understand why she couldnt get the approval. i lost my patience and told her to go freaking screw herself up and asked. if she succeed, do let me know so that i can ask for the same approvals too. GAWD, I HATE STUPID PEOPLE. she can jolly well eat shit and die. our earth's natural and precious resources are depleting and we have an idiot here using up all oxygen, water, and etc etc. NO IQ, NO EQ. kill her please.
my boss' dog died over the weekend and i think he's sad. so i ask if he was okay and he said he's fine. so fine. then another colleague of mine ( who also happened to be boss's good friend and happened to be in taipei ) kept texting me to ask me how is boss and if i can hang out with him during the weekend. WARRAU. do i look like a geisha to you? seriously, she and boss are good friends and so i understand why she would want to make sure he's alright. BUT, dont ask me to do things on behalf of you just because you're not around. and besides, it's so farking fake. i mean to be honest, yes i know he's sad but do i look like i care that much? NO! she kept asking me if i managed to go out with him and if he's alright. i told her to leave me and him alone. then when she's back in HK, she asked me again if imeeting him and i told her to meet him herself since she's back and she said she's too tired. WTF. i really think it's too much. i cant take it. then today, she told me that we shall take turns to have dinner with him. warrau. what is this? yes he's sad and all but im not a friend of his, you are. dont drag me into such shit. pissed. dont wanna be a geisha.
