dim sum dollies

went to watch dim sum dollies yesterday night...it was so bloody hilarious!!! i laughed till i teared for a few times....the 3 dollies were simply AMAZING....selena tan, pam ooi and emma yong....they are simply marvellous and talented...they can sing...they can dance...they can act...they are simply GOOOOD!!! and not to forget...the ever-so-wonderful HOSSAN LEONG...he's like the mmm...my english sucks...and all i can say is.....HE'S THE ONE!!! *laughs*

the jokes and songs were funny....i love the one where they did the bollywood thingy...*laughs* the lyrics went something like that..." we sing from the heart, tell the stupid chinese we do more than dance around the tree"....*laughs* and another favorite scene was the one where it's Lucy Liu vs Zhang Zi Yi... i must say...pam ooi did a bloody good job in imitating the american accent and emma yong spoke perfect mandarin...and the best line would be " the soup is too salty" *laughs* this was what zhang zi yi said when lucy liu said she couldnt speak english..and she said..." i can...the soup is too salty " this almost made me rolled and laughed....

hossan leong did the perfect impersonation of all types of women....and i didnt know he played the piano so damn well....am really really really really impressed...and he can sing as well..although not as good a pavarotti...but at least better than many singers in the music industry....

all in all..i was satisfied with the whole musical..although they are not as good as those from broadway like "Cats" or "Phantom of the Opera"...but this musical is HIGHLY ENTERTAINING!!! a friend of mine caught it on saturday..and she told me..." it's alright ah...there's this part on brazilian waxing and it reminds me of you... " *lauhgs* mmm...actually wonder why was she not satisfied with it...maybe she had a higher form of art appreciation and have her own form of art interpretation but for me...this musical is good enough to make me go...." BRAVO " =)
