The Meaning of Fun

Went back to Singapore last weekend for a good friend's wedding. DIDNT regret it a bit. in fact i had a very very very very fun weekend. amazing weekend i must say. I had fun partying with my peeps. i had fun hanging out with my family. i had fun eating local food. i had fun at the wedding. basically, one word to describe last weekend: FUN.

ARMIN VAN BURRN was in Zouk!! and i truly enjoyed myself when he spun at zoukout in 2007 and so i couldnt bear to miss him this time. and to think that i was in SG and he was in SG. it's all fated! i swear that i didnt know he is going to be in SG when i booked my tickets back to SG. so i think, we're fated. i was soooo closed to going right up to him to tell him to marry me. seriously. so close. but friend stopped me. argh. but i managed to get some snaps of my favorite dj:

i partied till like 3 am and had to wake up by 7am to be at my friend's house at 8am. amazingly, i did it. okok , i was 5 mins late. haha but hey, i think it was a pretty neat job to be up and about. anyway it was a very very sweet and simple wedding. my friend loooooooooook amazingly gorgeous. she was sooo gorgeous that i am starting to get worried. WHAT IF I CANNOT LOOK AS GOOD AS HER ON MY WEDDING DAY? anyway it's too early to worry about this. i should worry about getting a boyfriend first. hee hee. anyway, i didnt have to do much during the church wedding ( thank god ) but am the emcee ( for the first time ) for the evening. so after the church wedding, i rushed home to take a short nap so that i do not make any blunders in the evening. i was really really nervous as the emcee as i've never done such a job before. but luckily, me and my co-emcee managed to pull it off. hee hee. thank god again. i even sing for my friend. we made a special montage for her and i proposed singing for her and so i sang. HAHAHA i think i sucks but hey, the bride and her family thinks i rock. that's enough. i am not in the running for Singapore Idol anyway. maybe i should. hahahahaha.

and after the wedding, i continued partying at butter factory. HAHA. arent i amazing? actually, i really feel like going back to sleep BUT... 2 of my friends spotted a girl at the wedding and i kinda know her. and so being a nice and steady friend, i decided to go Butter Factory so that i can be their "mei po" hahaha. honestly speaking, i do not really think the girl is pretty and to be honest, i dont even know what she is working as right now and i dont even have her number. HAHA i dont even like her to start with. but for my 2 guy friends, i did what i was told to do. invite her to Butter and she actually agree. HAHAHA. anyway nothing much happen. will have to see how things progress. but to be honest, i am not very keen to know either. i would rather spend that time worrying about my own future. but the guy who took the same cab with her (because they live in the same area) is such a big disappointment. i thought he would be gentleman enough to send her home but that idiot, dropped himself off in bedok off and let her continue her journey back to pasir ris. ARGH. what an idiot!

then before i knew it, i have to take the flight back to hong kong. sighz. i really didnt want to be back in HK but guess what? am flying back to SG again. haha for CHINESE NEW YEAR! woohoo!

First Day of 2009

it's the first day of the new year. had an amazing time last night. went to a club called "Azure" in LKF with a group of friends. we talked, ate, drank, danced, watched fireworks and made new friends. it was a very fun night. just hanging out and having fun was good. i miss this sooo much!!! going back to Singapore for a good friend's wedding next weekend. am soooo looking forward to it. also, Armin is going to spin at Zouk next friday, am sooo going to be there with my usual gang of party animals. BUT..cant stay too late as i need to wake up early for the wedding. what an eventful weekend it's going to be!

looking back at 2008, it's quite a happening year. visited Isreal and India. relocated to Hong Kong. went to New York for training. made new friends. resolved issues. had fun. quite a good year i must say. hopefully 2009 would be even better. and it better be. if not i dont know what im going to do. haha! i met people whom i really am glad that i've met but i've also met people whom i rather not meet.

been having friends over ever since i came back from NY. it was fun and tiring. first friend is the party animal. we went out almost every night to party. fun but tiring. second friend is the shopping animal. we went out everyday to shop, which made me even more broke now. third friend is just dropping by. she's going to japan for holiday with another hong kong friend. but it's good that she's here to spend my new year's eve with me. if not i think i'll sleep though it again. haha! next week am going back to SG. and then it's CNY and am going back to SG again. woohoo! cant wait to go back to SG and see my friends and family!!
